CAN TIMOR PORTFOLIO I am a freelance graphic designer based in London. I design websites, logos, corporate identities, infographics and various kinds of visuals for digital and print platforms, as well as producing motion graphic videos. I founded my one-man graphic design company Pixfox after finishing my postgraduate study in London College of Communication in 2012. I’ve been offering graphic design services to my clients for the last 2 years. I like working for communication and marketing companies on a freelance basis but I also enjoy working for smaller clients. Recently, I am mostly focused on web design and branding. I have been designing many websites and logos for social and political organisations in the UK. In this portfolio, you can see samples of my work in different fields of graphic design.

I am a freelance graphic designer based in London. I design websites, logos, corporate identities, infographics and various kinds of visuals for digital and print platforms, as well as producing motion graphic videos.

WHAT? Corporate Identity Design Pack for Pixfox, the one-man graphic design company founded by me. Pixelated fox in the logo represents the cunning, creative and straight-to-the point approach of Pixfox towards design challenges. It looks around and finds its way quickly in the most effective manner. The colours and typeface give the feeling of being young, passionate and energic. The pack consists of logo, business cards, letterhead, envelope, CD-ROM and CD case, notebook, USB stick, badges and pencils.
WHERE? I work as a freelance graphic designer under the name of Pixfox. This corporate identity pack was designed for my own company.

WHAT? FASS is the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in Sabanci University. The logo reflects the multidisciplinary and transformative characteristics of the faculty. It is well-grounded and strong, yet not bulky and conventional, always open to development and collaboration. The pack consists of logo, business card, letterhead, envelope, presentation folder, CD-ROM and CD case and USB stick.
This corporate identity design pack was made for a branding brief in BA Visual Communication Design, Sabanci University.

WHAT? These are some of the logos I’ve designed lately. Durham Miners Gala is a large annual gathering held in Durham to celebrate mine workers. Worklife is the project of a music producer from Chicago. Ski Shop Ramser is a shop in Switzerland. Get Real is a social/political organisation in London. Fresh Cut Smell is a film production team in London. Calypso FC is an unprofessional football team playing in a tournament in Google, USA.

LONDON LABOUR FILM FESTIVAL 2014
WHERE?WHAT? London Labour Film Festival is an annual festival consisting of films about the working class. The festival aims to celebrate global social commitment through the art of cinema. On the website, viewers can see the films and schedule, book tickets and apply for voluntary work.

WHERE?WHAT? UI designs of Facebook applications for brands like Pizza Hut, KFC, Avon. Most of these came to life by that time. They are interactive social media-based applications such as games, campaigns and store locators.
I designed these application inferfaces while I was working as a digital graphic designer for Youth Republic, an award-winning marketing agency in Istanbul.

CRIME IN URBAN AGE CITIES 2012
WHAT? Infographic video about the citizens’ level of satisfaction in four cities that are the emerging icons of urbanization. The data used in this video is taken from a research made by London School of Economics PHD students.
WHERE? The video was shown in Research Festival Exhibition, London, a festival that explores the interaction between social sciences and arts.

WHAT? Recording and then decomposing the sounds in Haggerston Park, designing them as loops, the aim of this project is to document the soul of the park in an abstract and audio/visual way. Basic circle shapes are supporting the audio loops in the video.
WHERE? This video was made for a brief in MA Graphic Moving Image, London College of Communication.

WHAT? An informal and humorous autobiographic video which tells about my background and experiences throughout my life, year by year from 1986 to 2012.

WHAT? Squad infographics of the London-based football team Arsenal. Nationalities of the players are shown on the world map. Other information such as the distribution of continents, ratio of home-growns and outsiders, age ranges are given in pie charts. Basic information of the players can be seen underneath their illustrations.
This infographic design was published and re-blogged by many fan sites and blogs. In 2012, it got published with credit to me in a book named Data Visualization, which includes well-designed infographic works from all over the world. The book was published in Hong Kong and distributed to many other countries for art festivals and art/design book shops.
