BINGO Night!
Ms. Budlovsky and her students did a fantastic job of organizing this fundraiser. The students came up with the idea and were supported by their teacher to make it happen. Thanks to everyone who came, and to our wonderful ‘Caller’. It was a real family affair that was enjoyed by all. Great job!
Grade 5’s trip to Albion Hills!
Our grade 5’s had a wonderful time on their trip. They played cooperative games, ate delicious food, slept in dorms, walked in the forest and had an all around great adventure. Thanks to Ms. Chung, Mr. Beatty, Ms. Loretta and Ms. Cutts for their hard work and time to orchestrate this experience. Thanks to Ms. Rachshtul for taking the grade 4’s from those classes while they were gone. Finally, thanks to the parents for trusting us with their children!
Grade 3-5 Hip Hop Club
Ms. Chung’s grade 3-5 Hip Hop Club entertained their audience with their fancy moves. They did a really cool dance with lots of energy, synchronicity and excitement. We were all impressed at how well they danced and didn’t know that Cameron had so many Hip Hoppers. Thanks for the show.
Ms. Chung's grade 4/5 students shared their Inquiry projects and persuasive writing work on Recycling. The whole class presented on Global Warming, while individuals spoke about recycling. This was the culminating activity from their school wide Inquiry into the Solar Panels and associated topics.
Persuasive Students
Cameron students represented their school with class during the Area Track and Field Meet at Esther Shiner Stadium. Running events and pit events were both successful and we came home with many ribbons. Students competed with such great sportsmanship and support for one another as well as the other competitors. I was really proud to be there with them. Way to go Cameron! Thanks to parents who drove and cheered, and teachers for preparing them to go.

Kindergarten Orientation!
Welcome to Kindergarten was well attended. We got to meet our new students who will be joining us in September. They tried out many of the activities and centers in the classrooms, as well as getting a chance to see a school bus. Great work organizing, Kindergarten teachers. Thanks to all who attended. Thanks to other Cameron staff who helped out with this event.
Whole School Rotation
This was the 5th, and final Whole School Health and Well Being Rotation for this year. Students enjoyed many different activities, rotating to a different one each month. They got to know one another, from K-Gr. 5, as their group visited each activity. Thanks to teachers for working so collaboratively to offer students this great opportunity.
Whole School Rotation Continued!
