Students fill a bucket by passing one Cambridge AS level exam in the
subject area. They must fill each bucket with at least one Cambridge
exam. They must pass a total of seven Cambridge exams.

To complete the curriculum, a student must pass 7 Cambridge courses, including
one from each bucket. The student must also TAKE the corresponding Cambridge
Exam. *These courses satisfy either of two buckets.

Students who earn the Cambridge Diploma:
Plus 100 hours of Community Service = FAS Award
Plus 75 hours of Community Service = FMS Award
No GPA Requirement; No test score requirement!
Students who complete the Cambridge Curriculum but do not earn the
Cambridge Diploma:
Plus 100 hours of Community Service and 1290/29 SAT/ACT=FAS Award
Plus 75 hours of Community Service and 1170/26 SAT/ACT=FMS Award
No GPA requirement!

So many GPA’s!! What do they mean?
The Unweighted GPA
All HS classes count.
Must have 2.0 to graduate.
Must have 2.0 to participate
in athletics/activities.
Grades are A, B, C, D, F.
The Weighted GPA
All HS classes count.
Used to RANK
students.
Also called the “local
GPA.
Grades are A, B+, B,
C+, C, D+, D, F.
All Honors classes are
worth more than
regular classes. (1)
DE, AICE, AP courses
are worth even
more.(2)
The Core GPA
Only core HS classes
count: English, Math,
Social Studies,
Science, World
Language.
State Honors courses
count a little bit more
than regular (.5).
AP, AICE, AP courses
count a little more (1).
