•Where does our intensity come from?

I. OUR INTENSITY COMES FROM THE COMMANDMENT.

Now you, man of God, run from these things; but pursue righteousness,

godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness…keep the commandment

without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

II. OUR INTENSITY COMES FROM THE CALLING.

Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life, to which you were called

and have made a good confession before many witnesses.

IV. OUR INTENSITY COMES FROM THE COMING.

“…that you obey this command without wavering. Then no one can find fault with you from now until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. For at just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all lords.”

•The level of intensity for Jesus Christ is determined by this action - We must first dethrone self and enthrone Jesus!

HOW TO KNOW WHEN JESUS IS OUR LORD

1. Jesus Christ is my Lord when I obey the initial prompting of the Holy Spirit without hesitation or

argument.

But the Holy Spirit will come and help you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I

said while I was with you.

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the

Holy Spirit.

2. Jesus Christ is my Lord when I am committed to fulfilling His will for my life before I even

know what He will require of me.

4. Jesus Christ is my Lord when I recognize His ownership of my total life, including possessions.
