CATALOGUE DESCRIPTIONIn Vidriera Arte San S.L, we care about providing our customers with new products that meet the needs of themoment. For this reason, we have designed urgent protection elements to avoid the virus infection, which affectsboth customers and employees in the development of our daily activities.

These infections increase in areas where interaction between people who are face to face is required. For thisreason, we have developed glass blocking screens to prevent the transmission of volatile particles through the air.These particles find an impassable barrier in our screens.

As it is made of 5 mm tempered glass, it complies with all the safety regulations for tempered glass with the CEmarking. This marking demonstrates compliance with standard EN 12150‐1, for thermally toughened soda‐limesilicate safety glass. With these characteristics, our glasses are highly resistant to knocks, scratches and cleaning withany chemical product on the market without losing transparency.

This catalogue presents a series of models of screen with a refined design, with a great robustness and withapplication in any field. Specially designed for shops, pharmacies, offices, supermarkets, companies, restaurants,hotels etc., that is, all types of retail shops; in the event that customers and employees need a point at which theycan speak in complete safety:

• 100% visibility.• Adaptable to any business through custom manufacturing both in width and height.• Easy installation and cleaning, no chemical degradation with cleaning agents as in plastic materials.• Customizable in case you want to include corporate prints on the glass.• Joints made with Ultraviolet Glue of maximum mechanical efficiency.

MONOLITHIC TEMPERED GLASS PROPERTIES

Tempered glass is physically and thermally more resistant than regular monolithic glass of the same thickness subjected to thesame pressure loads.

• Physical CharacteristicsGlass surface compression>= 69 MPa. (10,000 psi).Glass edge compression > 66.8 Mpa (9700 psi).

• Mechanical resistanceResistance 4 to 5 times greater than a regular glass and twice greater than a thermally hardened glass of the samethickness.(For 4 mm to 19 mm tempered glass, its resistance is at least 120 Mpa (17,405 psi)).

• Thermal resistanceA tempered glass can resist a thermal gradient of up to 250ºC (without direct exposure to flame) between its faces.(Note: test made on a 30 x 30 cm glass sample of 6 mm thickness).

• Bending stiffnessResists up to 170 kg of concentrated load, with a deflection of 69 mm and with the ability to return to its original statewhen the load is removed. (Note: test made on a 30 x 30 cm glass sample of 6 mm thickness).

• Impact resistanceIt resists the impact of a 227g steel sphere that is dropped from a height of 3 meters. (Note: test made on a 30 x 30cm glass sample of 6 mm thickness).

• Chemical ErosionGlass is resistant to most household acids except hydrofluoric acid, and at high temperatures, phosphoric acid.When the glass is exposed to the weather, different rain sulphates and steels can be deposited on the glass, which willit would be difficult to eliminate if they are not removed as soon as possible.
