New Military Transport aircraft with State-of-the-art Technology Rugged military designed aircraft with unequalled manoeuvrability and tactical assault capabilities, the Spartan accomplishes tactical, peace-keeping and humanitarian missions assuring constant, direct, day- night, all weather delivery success.
Extreme Operating Flexibility The C-27J can airlift troops, cargo, vehicles, equipment and personnel as well as airdrop paratroops, materiel and equipment. It can operate in austere environments under severe climatic conditions for extended periods of time without direct support from the main operating base.
Interoperable & Interchangeable with Heavier Airlifters Built-in cargo handling capability, variable attitude landing gear, power steered nose gear, internal auxiliary power unit, and backup thrust capability even on soft runways, allow the C-27J to fly into remote areas and make use of unimproved airstrips with no support facilities.
High Cost Effectiveness Its high cruise speed coupled with its exceptional range with large loads (1 0 tonnes can be carried at more than 1000 NM flying at more than 300 kts) allow the C-27J to deploy bulky and heavy equipment and cargo rapidly, at low operational cost and granting the highest productivity.
