THIS YEAR

To this day in art we have learned a lot. And I mean a lot. This first semester we learned a lot about drawing in general. Then came the blending, and the shading. Some of the projects we did were BAP an abstract project, and still life fruit. Some of the skills that I will be addressing are mixing, blending, and shading.

UNIT 1

The processes for each artwork was very challenging at first but then it got easy. The process for the fruit was very hard to me Mostly because I just go in the class and i did not know what was going on. Well it wasn't that hard to catch up, but soon I got it

UNIT 1 CONT.

I enjoyed it because I found it well to work with chalk pastel. It was like the two colors using were easy to use. Especially the part where all you mixed white with another primary color.

WELCOME TO UNIT 2Unit two was all about our hands. And how we can draw them in 3-D. It all started with the process of how to draw landscapes. You know the ones that are about outside. Then we had to draw our hands. But in 3-D like form.

THE REAL DEALWell aside from the progress the real one came out nicely I thought. The shading was way better overall in the whole thing. And the hands came out nice too. Especially the one grabbing the mountain

CONT. Well We Had To work in pen And we all know how scared we were because we were going to mess up well in the end there was a nice blend of shading just like in the final artwork.

THE BAP PROCESSWell from there we went into the Bap Person Which was not pretty. Drawing proportions to the face was very hard to some. So we went through the process of drawing a face. And a portrait. (Warning do not smoke It Kills you and your family members.) CDC Tm.

THE LAST ONE WAS ABSTRACT. (LITERALLY). This last one was all about letting go and being abstract. Working with oil pastel was a b***h but it worked out at the end. The blending and the mixing came out nice (Here it is in sketchbook form).
