IntroductionHi my name is Kayla and

my animal is the Beautiful Flamingo!!!

characteristicsFlamingos are pink or red colored birds known as their long legs. They have two wings and two legs. Flamingos are 110cm – 150cm but mostly other types of flamingos are 80-90cm.

Diet/habitat

Flamingos are omnivores eating algae, insects and small fish it also eats shrimp and snails.

Flamingos live in tropical areas, desert lakes (in east Africa)and cold mountain lakes in the Andes

mountains.

AdaptationsFlamingos have long legs. They can wade into much deeper water than

most other birds. Their webbed feet help support them on soft mud.

Jaw Dropping FactsFlamingos lay only one egg per season. There are only six known species of flamingos in the world!

Impact of Cross or Extinction info

People destroy their habitats. They are using them for money.

Conclusion

I think flamingos

are awesome

animals. When

we did this

project I was so
