The status of University was given to a cluster of these colleges and institutes in appreciation of the high

level oftheir academicexcellenceandfortheirpotentialforfurthergrowth.

During the last 16 years or so, the University has achieved higher pinnacles of academic excellence and

has established its reputation to such an extent that it attracts students not only from various parts of India but

also from abroad. According to a survey conducted by Association of Indian Universities, this University is oneamong the top ten Universities in the country preferred by the overseas students for admissions. At present, there

are more than 800 overseasstudentsfrom67countriesontherollsofconstituentunitsofthisUniversity.

Duringthelast16 years,therehasbeentremendousacademicexpansionoftheUniversity. Itnowconducts

in all 214courses in its constituent units, of them 107 are Post Graduate, 50 are Under Graduate and 57 Diploma

level courses. All the professional courses which the University conducts such as those of Medicine, Dentistry,

Engineering etc., have approval of the respective statutory councils, viz., Medical Council of India, Dental

Council of India, All India CouncilforTechnical Education etc.

The University is a throbbing center of research activities and has launched Ph.D. programmes in 64

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Nursing Navi Mumbai is situated at Bharati Vidyapeeth

Deemed University campus Navi Mumbai. It is one of the constituent units of the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed

University.

In Bharati Vidyapeeth, College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai started Undergraduate Course of B.Sc. Nursing in

2009- 2010. The college and its degree have approval and recognition of the Indian Nursing Council and

Maharashtra Nursing Council. The College has 50 intake capacity. The college has well educated and experienced

teaching faculty College has infrastructural facilities for better teaching and learning process, which includes

fundamental of nursing laboratory, nutrition laboratory, maternal and child health laboratory, museum & audiovisual

IssueofAdmissionCards:

1. Admission cards for E.T. (P.B.B.Sc.Nursing) 2014 will be dispatched by post to candidates under certificate of

2. Candidates must not mutilate the admission card or change any entry made therein after the University

3. In case a candidate does not receive the Admission card by the date mentioned in the calendar of events he/she

should contact the examination centre on the previous day or the day of examination for collecting a duplicate

admission card. Insuch a situation, candidate should bring two copies of photograph along with him/her and

proofofsubmission/mailing applicationform.

ConductofThe E.T.(P.B.B.Sc.Nursing)2014 Examination

1. The written examination will be conducted at the center between 11.00 hrs. to 13.00 hrs. on the date mentioned

in the calendar of events. The candidate must report at the center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time

of commencementofexamination.

2. Thecandidatemusttaketheirseatsintheexaminationhallatleast15 minutesbeforeexaminationstarts.

3. No. Candidatewillbeadmittedtoexaminationhallwithouttheadmissioncard.

4. A candidate will not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed or hand written, chits or any other material

except the Admission card inside the examination hall. Candidate will not be permitted to bring calculators,

MobilePhonesorany otherobject/devicethatislikelytobeunfairassistance.

5. No candidatewillbeallowedtogooutsidetheexaminationhallduringtheentiredurationofexamination. Once

the candidate leaves the hall (even for answering a call of nature) he/she will not be readmitted to examinationhallwithout anyexception.

6. Candidate should maintain perfect silence and discipline in the examination hall. Any conversation or

gesticulation or disturbance in the examination hall shall be considered as misbehavior and the candidates

involvedinsuchabehaviorshallbeexpelledfromtheexaminationhall.

7. A warning bell will be given at the beginning of the examination and also to mark the half - time of the

examinationperiod. Abellwillalsobegiven10 minutesbeforetheclosingtime.

1. The candidate will be provided with a sealed Test Booklet with an answer sheet. The candidate will write withballpoint pen the required information regarding. Roll no., name and centre of examination on the test bookletwithout openingtheseal.

2. In the Test Booklet, there will be 100 items/questions serially numbered from 001 to 100. Each item will be

followedbyfour responses marked A, B, C, & D. Out of these four responses only one will be correct or the most

3. The candidates will have to return the question paper booklets along with answer sheets to the invigilator after

15 calendar days from the date of commencement of the particular course, 10 percent of total amount of tuition

fees prescribed for the course will be deducted form the amount of tuition fee paid by him and the

balance amountwillbe refunded.

(3) If a student submits his/her application for cancellation of admission in a prescribed form (duly completed within

30 calendar days from the date of commencement of the particular course, 20 percent of the total amount o

tuition feesprescribed for the course will be deducted from the amount of tuition fee paid by him/her and the

balanceamountwillberefunded.

(4) If a student submits an application for cancellation of admission after 30 calendar days from the date o

commencement of the particular course, no refund will be made and Rule (5) may also be invoked. However, i

the application for cancellation of admission is submitted before the last date prescribed for admission, and if the

vacated seat is filled by another candidate, 25% of the amount of tuition fees prescribed for the course will be

deducted fromthe amountoftuitionfeepaidandthebalanceamountwillberefunded.

(5) If any student admitted to any course leaves the course after the prescribed last date for admission of the

particular course no refund will be made and he/her will be required to pay full amount of tuition fees for the

remainingentiredurationofthecourse.
