Communist pilots during the week ending 28 December showed an unusually high degree of proficiency, acoording t o the Far East A i r Force. Although avoiding engagements with UN F-861~~ the Comrmvliets displayed an unusual variety of tact ics designed t o position themselves fo r brief f i r ing passes. This departure from the pattern of the previous six weeks auggests that more experienced pilots are again over Korea f o r additional combat training.
