Total Man Fellowship “Men Loving Jesus”

In April of 2017, Lynn and Regina Williams would yet again, face another opportunity for God to show Himself strong on their behalf as the miracle working God. This is their testimony; “God is going to make a Believer out of you yet!”

The DiscoveryRegina shares, “Lynn had discovered a huge knot on the left

part of his neck. I remember him being nervous, but Lynn’s response to it was, ‘I’m not worried about it.’ So, I said, okay,” but, I remember the Lord telling me that it was going to be okay. I had sensed in my heart what was going on, but said nothing.”

The Tests“Lynn went to see our doctor at his office. The nurse practitioner decided to go ahead and run tests on

what they had discovered on Lynn’s neck. When the test results came back, it was confirmed that it was some type of cancer, but they did not know what kind.”

Recalling it to mind, Lynn said, “The cancer had spread to the left part of my neck, and my entire throat was covered. My entire chest and stomach were covered. It was even in my bones, between the left hip and thigh as well as a part of my left lung.”

Regina continues, “Lynn was then referred to a doctor in Temple where he had to undergo a biopsy. He was told that they wanted to go into the lung, but it was a very dangerous procedure. Lynn said, “Why don’t you just go in my neck and draw a sample from my neck?” The doctor consented. I don’t know why, but they were not aware of what was in his neck. Maybe because they did not get the full report. A day or so after Lynn was admitted, I went to the hospital, to spend a day or two there; they had already gone in using FNA-Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy, to collect a sample. It was going to take a couple of weeks before the full results of the test-ing came back. The doctor assumed that it was two different types of cancer; Lung and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Through the testing they found out it was Lung Cancer.”

The Miracle Working God: Lynn and Regina Williams’

Testimony

Jesus Christ, the Same“As I remember, Lynn became angry because the nurses were not giving him the right regimen or the

right medications to keep it under control. There was a woman that came in to inform me as to what to look for or what would happen with non-small cell Cancer-Adenoid Carcinoma. She sat me down, and by the Spirit of God, I felt led to talk to her. She told me, “This is a non-curable disease. Lynn will have to live with. It’s treatable, but not curable.” She proceeded to tell me what to expect as time goes on and what it would do to Lynn’s body. She told me that he could be paralyzed or experience strokes.”

Regina states, “I was alright with the things that she was saying, but I told her, I’m one to believe that God is a miracle worker and I just don’t believe that Lynn has gone through cancer twice and God has brought him out on top both times and I’m not going to stop believing now. The woman said, “Yes, I believe in miracles also, but she was indirectly and very nicely, giving Lynn “a death sentence.” Lynn then interjected, “There were already people that were giving me the kiss of death, but God gave me the kiss of life!” Regina continued, “When Lynn came out, the woman explained it to him a little more nicely than she had done with me.

“Lynn wanted to leave the hospital, but all the testing had not come back yet. They were assuming that he had two types of Cancer. I went home and Lynn called me saying that he was about to leave the hospital. He said, ‘I’m leaving the hospital right now.’ I told him, ‘No Lynn don’t leave now.’ There was a blood clot on Lynn’s left lung that had taken up three quarters of his lung. That is why they did not want him to leave the hospital. They were also giving him blood thinners to get rid of the blood clot. He wanted to leave because the doctors were not treating him properly.”

“So, I called the head of the hospital explaining to her what was going on. I told her that my husband was ready to walk out of the hospital and leave because of the way that he was being treated. I took the time to explain our situation to her. Her words to me were, ‘I will handle it.’ She sent someone to the hospital and his doctor came also. Lynn had a team of doctors. They informed Lynn and I that if he were to leave, he could die. I talked to his doctor on the phone briefly and he asked me to talk to Lynn about it, which I did. The doctor left and came back about an hour later agreeing to send Lynn home with blood thinners for a home regimen.

Praying it Through“The same day, Lynn came home and we got his medication, but had to return to the hospital because

of the pain. Within a week with more testing, they found that the blood clot that Lynn had was gone! They had informed Lynn that due to the enormous size of the blood clot that he would have to stay on blood thinners for six months before he would see results-but it was gone within one week!”

“I believe that it was God. God was already healing him and the Lord was continually speaking to me. Every so often I would get choked up and the thoughts would go through my head about Lynn “leaving.” God said, “He will be fine; he is okay.”

“Lynn went to see the doctor and two weeks after that, received his first treatment of Keytruda without the port being put in, because the doctor wanted to get right to it. The very next day they put the port in. Lynn was told to come back in three weeks for more treatments.”

“The nurse explained the side effects of the treatment which was nausea and vomiting along with a myr-iad of things. After all the testing came back, Lynn was found to have non-small cell cancer; not two cancers, but one.

It was treatable. The report said that Lynn had cancer on his neck, left lung, chest, throat, stomach and a small spot on his bone. Again, I was choked up but I remembered the word of the Lord to me, “Lynn would be fine.”

“There was a prophetess that we have known for years, a true woman of God. The Lord spoke through her and told Lynn, ‘why.’ Here is what she said the Lord was saying; “You must forgive. Hate is like cancer to the body “(Proverbs 14:30 ERV). “At that time, Lynn was going through a very angry state, but asked for forgiveness while in the hospital, when the Lord had sent a chaplain there, that attends our church, (CHOP). He was a true man of God. We shared a portion of our testimony with him.” Lynn recalls, “I gave up all the anger and animos-ity towards people and I just let it all go. I’m not going to give up, I’m going to fight.”

The God of Comfort“I remember when I came home my mind would travel and the Lord would comfort me. The Lord said,

“I am with you and with your husband.” The first treatment went really well. Even the doctor was impressed saying that he had never seen anyone respond that well, because Lynn didn’t have any problems! With the first treatment, the cyst in his neck shrunk to a golf ball size. With the second treatment, it shrunk to half a golf ball. The third treatment it went down to the size of a bean. Now in July, (3 months’ time) it is to the size of half of a bean!!! The doctor was amazed and in his amazement he stated that he, “had never seen that much improve-ment with only three treatments! It’s almost all gone!”

“Lynn has just undergone treatment number five. Afterwards, he will undergo another scan to see where they are. His left lung is completely clear! There is a tiny spot on his bone. His throat is completely clear with little spots here and there.”

Whose Report Will You Believe?“Lynn is still not receiving the severity of the forewarned side effects. “The doctor told Lynn, “cancer

never heals and it never goes away.” Lynn responded, “Well, I was the first one to beat Hydrocephalus-I don’t have that shunt anymore. I guess I will be the first one to beat this too!” The doctor then replied, “Well, it won’t ever go away.” To that Lynn told the doctor, “God is going to make a Believer out of you yet! To God be the

glory!

A HEALTHY START BE-GINS WITH ON-TIME VACCINATIONS

Vaccines give parents the safe, proven power to protect their children from serious diseases. Parents can provide the best protection by follow-ing the recommended im-

munization schedule – giving their child the vaccines they need, when they need them.

Babies receive vaccinations that help protect them from 14 diseases by age 2. It is very important that babies receive all doses of each vaccine and receive each vaccination on time. After age 2, children are still recommended to receive a yearly flu vaccine. Children are also due for additional

doses of some vaccines between 4 and 6 years of age.

Following the recommend-ed immunization schedule is one of the most import-ant things parents can do to protect their children’s health. If a child falls be-hind the recommended immunizations schedule, vaccines can still be given to “catch-up” the child be-fore adolescence.

AUGUST IS

ENSURE A HEALTHY FUTURE WITH VACCINES FOR YOUR PRETEENS & TEENS

Parents can do a number of things to ensure a healthy future for their child. One of the most important actions parents can take is to make sure their children are up to date on their vaccines.

Preteens and teens need four vaccines to protect against serious diseases:

Meningococcal conjugate vaccine to protect against meningitis and blood infections (septicemia).

HPV (human papilloma virus) vaccine to protect against cancers caused by HPV.

Tdap vaccine to protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertus-sis).

A yearly flu vaccine to protect against seasonal flu.

READY FOR SCHOOL? CHECK THOSE VACCINE RECORDSCheck your child’s vaccine records to make sure they are up to date on all the vaccines they need to stay healthy

VACCINES ARE NOT JUST FOR KIDS.All adults, including pregnant women, should get the influenza (flu) vaccine each year to pro-tect against seasonal flu. Every adult should have one dose of Tdap vaccine (tetanus, diph-theria, and pertussis or whooping cough) if they did not get Tdap as a teen, and then get the Td (tetanus and diphtheria) booster vaccine every 10 years. Pregnant women should receive a Tdap vaccine each time they are pregnant, preferably at 27 through 36 weeks.

Adults 60 years and older are recommended to receive the shingles vaccine. And adults 65 and older are recommended to receive one or more pneumococcal vaccines. Some adults younger than 65 years with certain high-risk conditions are also recommended to receive one or more pneumococcal vaccinations.

Talk with your health care professional about which vaccines are right for you based on your age, health, job, lifestyle, and other factors.1Take CDC’s vaccine quiz (www.cdc.gov/vaccines/adultquiz) to find which vaccines may be rec-ommended for you.

1Vaccines are available at private doctor offices, as well as other convenient locations such as pharmacies, workplaces, community health clinics and health departments.
