The Corry Family’s First Holiday by Niamh Docherty

2010 has seen the closure of airports in Scotland on numerous occasions due to the dreaded ash cloud and ‘worst weather in 40 years’. This leaves the question of where can families with young children escape to with the guaratee you will make it home in time for work?Since air travel became affordable for the working man holiday-ing in Scotland has become undesired but when in need of a short break it may be the best idea all round. The parents of the recently discovered ‘Olivia Corry’ decided to escape to the

beautiful Mcdonald hotel in Crieff Hydro. Scotland is filled with gorgeous creeks and crannies everywhere and is one the most beautiful under valued countries in the world. Baby model and fashionista ‘Olivia Corry’ has been sweeping the nation. The family were looking for a quiet, isolated location to escape the madness. They have allowed ‘Bundle’ an exclu-sive, all access pass to join them on their holiday and capture those happy family memories. The Macdonald Crieff Hydro Hotel offers a range of activties, restaurants and beautiful scenary, perfect for a quiet holiday. There is a baby pool avail-able and family changing rooms to cater for all the family.

We caught up with the young couple, Danielle and Ross Corry to ask them exactly what they thought of the resort.

How have you enjoyed your time here and would you recommend it to our ‘Bundle’ readers? Danielle: “ I would thouroughly rec-ommend it to all of the readers. It is a great place to escape to, just to spend some quality time the three of us is great. The facilities are fantastic. We tool Olivia shopping earlier she abso-lutely loved it she is definately a water baby.”

Have you managed to escape the media the entire time you have been here?Ross: “ yes it has been great. The hotel offers a privacy policy, where no paps can disturb you whilst you are on your holiday. Danielle: “ at this point in olivias life it would of been a nightmare to try and tackle all of her things through the airport with paps chasing us.

Other than wanting a break away have you been enjoying the media attention your family and especially Olivia has been recieving? Danielle: “ the media attention doesnt really bother me either way. I get an-noyed when im just trying to do my shopping and they scrutinise what i buy. Oliva is fed extreamly healthy. Look at her she is the picture of health. It is just silly really.

10 Tips on how to keep your baby healthy by mums for mums

1. Healthy babies start with healthy parents. As long as you are happy they are happy. 2. When they are hungry feed them! Do not worry about timings or weight. 3. Don’t stress yourself with the bottle vs. breast - do what is right for the two of you. 4. Health Officers may claim your baby is too young to begin teething but some babies are born with teeth so consult your GP for a second opinion. 5. Talking to other mums can help you and relieve any worries you have. 6.Taking your baby for a short walk each day keeps the two of you healthy, exericised and refreshed.

7. Try to liquidise as much of your home cooking as possible it isbetter for the baby and keeps the cost down for you. 8. Talk and interact with your baby. Spending time playing with your baby, you both will enjoy your time together. 9. Try and get your baby into a routine of sleeping but don’t worry if they don’t slip into at first, some babies are more sociable than oth-ers. 10. Allow the babies to self sooth for a while, it is the only way they will learn.
