Jacaranda sets up each student’s JacarandaPLUS account and uploads all their digital resources, ready for the start of the school year. Students are provided with login details by their school. Once set up, students can access their eBookPLUS resources anytime, anywhere, on any digital device. Each student’s account is password protected and should be accessed by them only. In mid-January, a ‘Quick-start’ package will be sent to your child’s school with the following information:

• login details for all students • what to do when a student has forgotten their password• a list of all resources in each student’s JacPLUS bookshelf• instructions on how to launch JacPLUS for the first time• links to ‘help’, user guides and how to contact customer service or the JacPLUS helpline

eBookPLUS is more than just a digital version of the print textbook. eBookPLUS provides students with access to the text in PDF and HTML format, PLUS a range of engaging complementary resources. These innovative resources are designed to bring the content to life and include interactivities, video eLessons, ProjectsPLUS, supplementary worksheets, relevant weblinks and more.

Digital-first resources

Offline access eBookPLUS titles include a PDF of the text. The PDF can be downloaded and used offline when students don’t have access to the internet. Digital-first resources (assessON, Knowledge Quest, myWorld Atlas and myWorld History Atlas) do not have offline components due to their high level of interactivity: they allow students to personalise their resources by recording their progress and results, and authoring their own content.

The myWorld Atlas and the myWorld History Atlas enable students to explore their world — both past and present — through a three-dimensional globe and timeline featuring interactive maps, stunning video footage and a range of case studies. Thousands of interactive questions with instant feedback are provided to test understanding and track progress.
