Your giving is making a difference toward the ripple effect of grace! !GENERATION NEXT: HELPING TODAY’S PARENTS DISCIPLE TOMORROW’S LEADERS In this month’s sermon series, we are exploring the foundations and implications of gospel-centered parenting, discovering that, ultimately, parenting it is a context for discipleship. This means that the goal is not merely behavior modification, but heart transformation. Whether or not you are a parent or a grand-parent, you are part of a church family that includes children, and every one of us plays a role in the discipleship of Generation NEXT. !GETTING EMOTIONAL: HOW GOD EMPLOYS OUR FEELINGS TO EXPOSE OUR SOULS TO THE GOSPEL Many of us are woefully out of touch with our emotional lives and the opportunity that our feelings provide for knowing God more fully and intimately. Others of us are so controlled by our emotions that we are unable to see God in the midst of our anger, frustration, jealousy, depression and disappointment. This summer series in the Psalms will help us be more alive to the purpose of our emotions and the more authentic life that can result from the grace of a greater gospel-awareness. !GRACEKIDS! GraceKids is a teaching environment during the morning service that is designed for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Children who wish to participate in GraceKids will be dismissed from the service after the announcements just before the sermon. Parents may pick up their children after the service.
