Maths & English for Adults Level 1 & 2 The courses are designed to help you improve your maths and/or English skills and obtain a functional skillsqualification. You may need the qualifications so that you can progress onto a higher college or universitycourse or for a new job or promotion. You may wish to update your skills to help you at work or help yourchildren with their homework. Some people just want to further their education and learn new skills. Theclasses are informal and friendly and the curriculum is designed for adults to learn skills that are relevant toreal life.

There are two routes of study:

• a one year option where you will do two classes per week for each subject each two hours long for 35 weeks.

• a seventeen week fast-track option where you study for 2.5 hours a week per subject. The fast-track is more suitable for those who just need to brush up their skills. There are two starts during the year in September and in February.

We have daytime and evening options available and also classes at community venues.
