2. GA’s internal structure

GA1’s internal structure Implementation of five (5) studies (one study per activity ≈ 200 pages), organized in nine (9) chapters as follows:

Comment 1: 200 pages each study * 5 studies = 1000 pages to be translated in 7 languages??? = 7000 pp??

One (1) introductory chapter General information regarding activity’s

subject and notions.

Seven (7) chapters (one for each municipality and one for Armenia).

Focus on local national and EU level.

One (1) comparative final chapter Identify common approaches, pros and

cons, evaluate data adequacy etc.

Structure flexibility-adaptation since many municipalities fall under common legislative framework (i.e. EU, Turkish, etc.)

Avoidance of effort duplication (ensure the that participants will not work on identical subjects thus losing valuable time, i.e. EU and Turkish legislation should not be described in each EU and Turkish municipality respectively)

8/27

2. GA’s internal structure

DUTH Responsibilities

Coordination of partners (e.g. through the development of an analytical timetable including specific deliverables per participant) .

Development of a draft table of contents and a template, in order to increase consistency and avoid unnecessary work.

Development of a set of quality criteria to be met by the deliverables of each participant.

Follow-up of timetables, milestones, etc.

Compilation of the deliverables. DUTH is experienced in developing final reports and improving the visualization of the results.

3 . BSBEEP Partner Perception and Added Value

Expectations from the implementation: Enhance the knowledge of local authorities regarding energy efficiency in

buildings related issues. Help decision makers (local, regional, level) in relative issues. Support further actions (capitalization of the results).

Added value for DUTH: Development of a cooperation network regarding various aspects of our

research interests (e.g. Carbon footprinting, Life cycle assessment, sustainability performance, sustainability metrics, industrial ecology, etc.).

Gain experiece from the cooperation with neighboring Black Sea region countries.
