thThe organizing team and ISPAE 2021 committee are pleased to welcome you to the 7

biennial meeting of the Indian Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology at

Pune, ‘the Oxford of the East’, between 12th -14th November 2021. Pune, the cultural

capital and second largest city of Maharashtra has excellent connectivity to air, rail

and road transport. Situated atop the Deccan Plateau with the Mutha river flowing

through, the city has pleasant weather throughout the year.

ISPAE represents pediatric endocrinologists of India and is committed towards holistic

care and well being of children with endocrine disorders. This is the biggest and most

awaited national scientific meeting amongst the medical fraternity dealing with

pediatric endocrine disorders which involves active participation of national and

international experts in this field.

The conference aims to address Pediatric endocrinology in a comprehensive way,

dealing with range of topics covering basics and bedside endocrinology as well as

recent advances in molecular pediatric endocrinology. The conference will also

include skill based sessions for insulin pump, CGMS and recent advances in diabetes.

Thus topics to suit both trainees and practicing pediatric endocrinologists will be

covered. The last day of the conference will be dedicated for pediatricians and

general practitioners dealing with common endocrine problems in children seen in day

to day practice.

The biennial meeting will be preceded by the PET Fellows school between 9th – 12th

November 2021, a 3 day residential program for trainees in pediatric endocrinology,

and pediatricians with special interest in pediatric endocrinology. The program

encompasses extensive interaction between the national and international faculty

and fellows. Interactive and practical case based learning is the crux of this much

awaited program .

The theme of the conference this year is:

“From Bedside Basics to Molecular Pediatric Endocrinology”.

Topics addressing various aspects of Pediatric Endocrinology,

recent advances and new technology in Type 1 Diabetes will be covered.

In the covid pandemic situation if the conference turns virtual 50% of the registration

fees will be refunded.

ISPAE PET Fellows School 2021

th thTuesday, 9 November to Friday, 12 November 2021

The much-awaited ISPAE PET School is scheduled from 9th-12th November

this year, immediately preceding the ISPAE Scientific meeting. It is a 3-day

intensive residential training program for young entrants in pediatric

endocrinology and a refresher course for those already working in the field of

pediatric endocrinology. The PET school provides opportunity for Fellows to

learn from excellent national and international faculty with immense

experience, explore career options, and network with their peers from

institutions all over India.

The venue this year is The Corinthians Resort & Club, Pune with its beautiful

ambience conducive for learning and promoting interaction between

Fellows and faculty.

Course registration is fees Rs. 8,750/- (to be paid only after selection).
