Project ManagementGAM plan and coordinate all project activities from the award of the purchase order to the delivery of the goods in the respect of contractual dates and obligations.The Project Managers are responsible for all project activities and procedures; they are supported by an efficient electronic data processing (EDP) system whose scope is moni-toring all operative units.Their main activities:

• Planning of critical paths;• Define project milestones;• Planning and cooperating with engineering activities;• Reporting of Cost Control;• Purchasing and monitoring raw materials production and delivery;• Monitoring and reporting production process.

Project Managers’ figure consists of giving a constant flow of information from and to the Customers in order to ensure a good result of the Project and the satisfaction of the Cus-tomers.

EngineeringTechnical and Engineering Department is equipped with advanced CAD & CAM systems, CAD workstation and interconnected Personal Computer with internal and external soft-ware packages. Great importance is given to Pressure Vessels design, Stress Analysis and Welding trough following advanced softwares:

- APV by Computer Engineering- Tecno Sap- Tecno Metal- Codeware Compress- Welder Management- Strucad by AceCad Software- Stackdes “FLARESIM”- HTRI

EquipmentThe workshop is equipped with the most modern facilities for proper manufacturing, such as:- Cutting machines (including oxy-cut and plasma with numerical control)- Rolling machines (cold rolling up to 50 mm)- Ton press- Drilling machines (radial & vertical)- Bending machines- Punching machines- Milling machines- Welding positioners- AGV maximum lifting 70 tons- Welding machines for manual, electrode, TIG, MIG, & MAG process- Welding semiautomatic machine for SAW

Factory Non Destructive Testing (NDT)Non-destructive testing are performed in house byqualified operators (UNI EN 473 and ASNT).

GAM are able to perform:

• X & γ-rays Testing (RT);• Ultrasonic Testing (UT);• Dye Penetrant Testing (PT);

• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT);• Positive Material Identification (PMI);• Hardness Testing.

QualitySystem

GAM strive for the top quality of the product in order to have the full satisfaction of the Customer.In fact, GAM are operating in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 with certification released by “ASME”.The quality system is monitored by the quality manager who provides and coordinates the following activities:- Update of quality manual and system’s procedures- Ispections and test durig fabrication and final delivery- Performance of NDT (PT, UT, MT, X-Rays & γ-Rays)- Monitoring and qualification of materials’ suppliers.

GAM have held ASME authorizations to manufacture with ASME Stamps U and U2 since 1999.Quality department operates independently with the target to provide the required qualityassurance through its personnel specialized in the performance of all inspections and tests.Besides GAM are also certified ISO 14001 (2004).
