SURF PARADEThe proposed streetscape upgrade intends to reinforce Surf Parade as the main dining and event street within the core business precinct by: • Narrowing the road to reduce vehicle speed
and maximise footpath width, improving pedestrian activity/connectivity
• Flushkerbtoimproveeventsspace• Creating feature corner treatment on
intersections• Installing catenary suspended luminaires and
smartpoles lighting and infrastructure• Improving outdoor dining and shade structures• Resurfacing portions the footpath and on road
pavement • Adding new trees where possible

It will play an important part in our preparation for theGoldCoast2018CommonwealthGames.
