• Consortium of Irish 3rd level institutions & research centers• Develop research links with Brazil in STEM areas• Mobility fund

– to encourage two way exchange between Ireland & Brazil– to strengthen existing research collaborations and establish new ones– to generate additional joint research funding and to avail of Brazilian and

European funding opportunities, specifically Horizon 2020• Funded by Science Foundation Ireland • Full time RBI coordinator in Ireland (Dublin City University)• Local anchor based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil• In 2013 : 37 exchanges from IRL to BR and 33 from BR to IRL• In 2014: Target of 101 exchanges
