Now that your system is active, you’re ready to logon and access a wealth of features using BrickHouse Security’s online platform. An email was sent containing your Login and Password information. Locate this email then visit www.brickhousesecurity.com, hover over “Login” in the upper right corner of the homepage and select “Alarm” from the drop down menu. This will bring you to your account login. Once you log in you will be able to begin setting up and customizing your system, including:

3Setting Up Your System

User Codes Management

Create Website User Logins

Set Security Panel User Codes

• Go to Security > User Codes.• Enter a code for each user who you want to be able to arm/disarm your security panel.

• Go to Profile > Manage Logins.• Click Add a Login to add website users to your account.• These users can also login via the Alarm.com mobile apps and mobile site. Go to Profile > Mobile Access for more information.

5Updating Sensor Names

Image Sensor

By updating your sensor names, you ensure that your alerts and event history display correctly. To name your sensors:

• Click on Security• Click on Sensors• Update your sensor names according to the Sensor Location Log

• Go to Image Sensor > Gallery to view all Image Sensor images uploaded within the past 60 days.• Click on each image thumbnail for a larger view.• To enable Auto Zoom click on the Settings tab.

• Go to Image Sensor > Upload Images to upload images captured by the Image Sensor. Note that Daily View, Peek-In and images captured on alarm are automatically uploaded.• Click the “Upload” icon to upload an image, and the “View” icon to view images already uploaded.

Image Sensor Daily View Rules

Image Sensor Notifications

• Go to Image Sensor > Rules.• Click Add Daily View Rule to configure rules to receive an image of the first motion event occurring during a specific time period.

• Go to Image Sensor > Image Alerts.• Click Add an Alert to select which contacts should receive images captured during an alarm event or when someone uploads an image.

7Setting Text and Email Notifications

Click on Notifications and add recipients to your address book to quickly and easily configure your text and email notifications.

Notifications Can Be Customized to Alert You When:

• An Alarm Is Triggered• The System is Armed or Disarmed (or if the system hasn’t been disarmed by a certain time)• System Events Such as Low Battery, Power Failure, System Malfunction, etc. Are Present• Sensor Activity for Door/Window/Motion/Image Sensors is Detected• A Sensor is Left Open (when any door/window sensor is left open for a pre- defined time frame)

• Go to the Notifications tab to setup your notifications• Click the New Notification button to add event and activity notifications

• Click on New Notification > Standard to setup the essential security event and sensor activity notifications.• Browse through the other sub tabs to enable pre-configured notifications for other types of sensor-triggered activity, such as when the liquor cabinet is opened, the housekeeper arrives, or the pet-sitter doesn’t show up.

• Click on Standard > Alarm to configure notification rules and to identify which contacts should be notified in the event of an alarm.

Arming Event: Identify the contacts that should be notified when specific users arm or disarm the system.Arming Reminder: Setup an arming reminder that lets selected recipients know if the system is not armed by an expected time.No-Show Alerts: Setup an alert if a certain person did not disarm your security system during a specific time period.Sensor Activity: Receive alerts when doors or windows are opened or closed.Sensor Left-Open: Find out when doors or windows have been left open for a specific time period.System Event: Setup an alert for non-alarm systems events, such as power failure or a low battery.

• Go to the History tab.• Use the menus to filter by device, event type, and date range.

Video Monitoring - Our video monitoring system always lets you know what’s going on in your home or office. Directly on your smartphone or PC, you’re able to:

• Stream live video using the BrickHouse Security online platform or any web- enabled smartphone or tablet.• Save and download video recordings• Customize camera and clip descriptions• Remotely pan and tilt your (pan and tilt-enabled) camera• Record video clips based on motion or if a specified event occurs (alarm events, a door opens, etc.)

10Z-Wave Home Automation

Z-Wave is a global standard and one of the wireless communication protocols that enables the BrickHouse Security system to remotely control home automation and security appliances. Through the BrickHouse online platform, you’re able to take remote control of a number of Z-Wave-enabled home appliances and perform numerous customizable functions, including:

• Dimming and turning lamps on and off• Setting up schedules for lights to turn on or off while you’re away• Have lights illuminate when a sensor is triggered• Adjust thermostat temperature• Lock and unlock doors
