Summarised in two sentences, the definition of Remote Asset Management is:

“ Remote Asset Management involves the remote monitoring, controlling, analysis and administratively maintaining of historical data of a single device. If operated in a multiple devices system it also involves the overall management and arising controlling logic. ”

With administratively maintaining of historical data the characteristics of the device itself is meant, not the produced output (for example guarding component life span and device error logging).

Field test HOMA-Software

The majority of the electricity consumption is covered by long term contracts. Because of uncertainties in daily consumption a relatively big percentage has to be bought on the daily electricity trading market (APX) at expensive rates varying per hour. When managing multiple micro-CHP smartly as a Virtual Power Plant, the capacity can be used for load balancing, lowering APX consumption.

Energy Reduction Assistant current status

Electricity metering is in field trial for over five months now.Accuracy is high, higher then the immediate competition.“Draaischijf” meters is in proof of concept status but currently not implemented.Gas metering is in proof of concept status and steps are taken to extend to the field trialEnergy Reduction Assistant is defined as an “Afstudeer opdracht” for ditictive pattern recognition. (stand alone, later to be added as application to the HOMA RAM Platform).Hardware designs are in concept ready. HUMIQ (and HOMA Software) will not develop hardware. A third party is required if leading customer(s) are interested.
