Tools Required:

1. 11/16” Socket and Ratchet

2. 11/16” End Wrench

3. 13/16” End Wrench

4. 9/16” End Wrench

5. 7/8” End Wrench

Step 1. Locating the actuator The actuator is located on the passenger side frame rail just behind the transmission, as seen in the images shown.

Step 2. Removing the actuator cylinder Before shipping be sure to empty all the fluid from the actuator and wrap in a plastic bag to catch any remaining fluid.

1. Remove the hydraulic hose from the tee fitting using a 9/16” wrench.

2. Unplug the connector from the pressure switch.

3. Unplug the connector from the proximity switch.

4. Remove the four nuts using an 11/16” end wrench or socket.

5. Using a 7/8” end wrench remove the tee fitting assembly directly from the end of the cylinder.

6. The portion to be shipped to us will be like the one shown outlined in red.
