SPECIFICATIONSGENERAL A BCR-P Mini Card Reader is included in the Bravida (Integrated by

Panasonic) access system for contactless card reading. This card reader has a sturdy design. The card reader is generally mounted in a door environment with the door control unit S-Node in a part assembly. The lightweight format is easy to place for ultimate user convenience.

PERFORMANCE The card reader is complete with a built-in antenna for card reading, LED indications, internal buzzer, EIA485 interface with moulded plastic encapsulation. The contactless card readers are customised for readings of Bravida (Integrated by Panasonic) contactless standard cards.

FUNCTION The card reader is used for contactless card reading in a 75 mm range, and status indications of the door environment and access requests. LED indications and an internal buzzer alert all accesses and warnings.

TECHNOLOGY The contactless reader uses well-tested RFID technology in the 125 kHz frequency range. The BCR-P Mini Card Reader is customised for EM Marin RFID transponder readings. In assemblies with in and out readers these are set as master and slave to avoid interference between the units. The transponder is a unique code bearer in the access system and can be ordered in different models, such as ISO chip card (CR80 with or without magnetic tape), key ring plate, bracelet plate etc.
