WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THE BPM
The Bourg Sheet Preparation Module (BPM) is a fully automated, modular and scalable sheet preparation unit that
vastly simplifies the creation of perfect bound and stitched books and booklets.
1) Economy of scale: automatically transforms SRA3 input to A5 books and A6
booklets
2) Reduces click charges & reduces waste production: single-pass production
of creative book formats & multi-up impositions
3) Increased reliability and full integrity check with optional barcode system
4) Fully supports JDF and XML workflows
5) Quality: dynamic creasing of sheets with very high precision
6) No manual work: reduced use of post-processing guillotine trim
7) On-the-fly waste removal for continuous production
8) Increases output speed of your current/future C.P. Bourg print finishing solution
9) End-to-end solution, print to finish On Demand: just load white paper and
collect the finished unique books/booklets ready to be sold in a matter of
seconds
10) Compatible In-Line with your printer/press and with all C.P. Bourg booklet
making and BB3x02 binding solutions

WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THE BWO
BWO
The Bourg Walkover Bridge (BWO) is a conveyor that connects the Bourg BB3202 binder to production printers/presses. It
is a shortcut for the operator: a quick access from the User Interface of the binder to the one of the printer/press.
1) Save time: no need to go all the way around the printer/press to access the
binder
2) Flexibility: work In-Line with various printers/presses. The height of the
input module of the BWO adapts to the height of your press/printer
3) Communication interface (JDF/JMF job ticket & DFA): maximizes
throughput and time between jobs, minimizes potential for human errors,
waste and optimizes turnaround time
4) Speed adjuster: matches paper speed between your printer and C.P.
Bourg finishing modules without slowdown the printing speed &
performances
5) Constant production workflow: automated ejection of jammed paper
thanks to the integrated reject tray
