TrilobiteThe trilobite was found in

the sea.

The environment was filled with sea scorpions and ammonites.

• Multi-legged shellfish• Have tower like eyes

NAME: Alex Akinrinmola

I infer the environment was very dangerous because of the other animals.

Ammonite • This is an ammonite… Ammonites are found in

U.K. and in the sea and sand.

I infer that my fossil’s environment was the sea because it has a shell and it looks like something that’s has decayed in the water.

My fossil’s environment is the sea; anywhere that is a water environment.

They are very small but some can be up to 3 feet ( one meter).

Trilobite• My fossil was found in

the ocean.

I think the environment is wet, and sandy.

My fossil lived 450 million years ago with sea scorpions, ammonites and many other sea creatures, some lived during the Cambrian period.

• My fossil is a multi-legged shellfish, all trilobites have a cephalon. (head)

TrilobitesTrilobite.Trilobites are found in the

ocean and morocco.

• They are found deep down on the ocean floor.

• Trilobites are usually flattened • when trilobites are a fossil it looks

like it was crushed by a rock.

Allosaurus• North America and

Australia

I think a lot of dinosaurs lived there because it was hot and it was a desert and I think dinosaurs like the desert

The environment was hot in the desert

• Named by o.mash 1883 meaning different lizard the dinosaur was alive in 154-144 bc

NAME: Andrew Sprucebank

Herring• My fossil was found along

the seacoasts of the north Atlantic ocean.

A inference about the environment where my fossil was found billions of years ago is that there were a lot of herring fish that stayed in a group to swim.

The environment that my fossil was found in is 660 feet deep. There are 200 meters . Pacific herring migrate to shallower coastal waters to lay eggs. Also, were found in the Pacific Ocean .

• Two features of my fossil is they have thin scales colored bluish to greenish . There is blue on the back and silver below. Also, both species commonly grow about 10 inches (25 centimeters ) in length .

Herring

• Pacific ocean herring • My fossil was found in the ocean a long time ago.

The environment a long time ago, maybe had trash and the herring got stuck in a can holder and washed ashore and became a fossil.

The Herring lived in the Pacific ocean.

• Thin scales colored bluish to greenish-blue

• They can grow about 10 inches long

Allosaurus• My fossil was found in

W. North Australia.

I can infer that it was dry and there was lots of tree’s and dinosaurs.

My fossils environment had a lot of meat and it was grassy.

• My fossil has short legs and sharp teeth.

Herring• Herring are in the costal

waters.

• My fossil was found in The North Pacific and The Arctic Oceans.

Herring swim close together in schools.

• Has thin scale that are colored bluish to greenish-blue on the back and silver below.

Ammonite

• My fossil was found in the outer chamber.

• I think the environment is sandy wet and raining a lot and it was pretty hot.

• My fossils environment was wet and sandy.

• My fossil has a bumpy shell and inside the shell is smooth.

Tyrannosaurus.

• A Tyrannosaurus lives in North America and Mongolia.

I infer that a Tyrannosaurus habitat is probably full of trees because there food lives there.

A Tyrannosaurus habitat is in a forest were its prey the plant eating dinosaurs live.

• Tyrannosaurus walks on three toes and not their feat.

• A Tyrannosaurus jaws are 4 feet long.

TRICERATOPS!• My fossil was found in

Western North America.

•I infer that my fossil lived in an environment with a lot of other dinosaurs.

•My fossil was living in a dry, rocky environment.

• It has horns that grow up to 3 feet tall. Also, my fossil grows larger than 10 feet.

NAME: HANNAH N. DILLEY

Tyrannosaurus Foot• My fossil was found in

Hell Greek, Montana, USA, North America.

• The T-Rex probably preyed on plant eating Dino’s.

The land must have been forests.

Had at least 200 bones, and was about 40 feet tall.

AllosaurusIt was found in W. North

America/Australia.

•I think my fossil was found in Australia

It was found in the desert and sometimes in a forest

It was a mean killing machine. Also its tooth is 5 cm

Triceratops• My fossil was found in western

Canada also it was found in western United states.

There was lots of other dinosaurs

The environment was good it had a lot of animals .

• They walked on four small legs • It was 25 feet long.

NAME: Kamol Corprew

Page 16: Borowy powerpoint

Tyrannosaurus Foot• My fossil was found in

Western North America and Magnolia in Asia.

• I infer that my fossil was found in a place by the mountains.

The environment where my fossil was found is rocky and dry.

• Its feet is about 3.3 feet long.• Its footprints were measured

at 1.55 feet long.

NAME: Kyla Cassell

Tyrannosaurus Foot• Add picture of your

fossil hereMy fossil was found in Hell

Creek, Montana, USA,

I think the environment where my fossil was found was hot and still wet.

My fossils environment was wet and really cold in the north.

One feature of my fossil is that it is a meat eater.

A second feature is that my fossil weighed 5-7 tons.

NAME: Lisbeth Aguilar

Page 18: Borowy powerpoint

ALLOSAURUS • My fossil was found

where plants grew.

They ate meat and plant eating dinosaurs. Maybe they lived in the rainforest a place that has a lot of grass and meat.

The area was filled with trees and grass.

• My Fossil had sharp teeth and ran fast.

NAME: Marie Vazquez

Page 19: Borowy powerpoint

Trilobite• My fossil was found in the

desert and once lived in the sea nearly 450 million years ago.

• I can infer that my fossil environment was a little dangerous because of other creatures.

• My fossil environment was like fresh water in the sea deep in the sea with other creatures.

• Trilobites are remarkable hard-shelled segment creatures that existed over 520 million years ago in earth ancient seas.

NAME: Marquise Williams

Page 20: Borowy powerpoint

Ammonite• My fossil was found in

the ocean.

I think they were in deep water.

The environment it was in was mostly fish.

• They are squid like creatures. • Ammonites were predatory.

Herring• They lived in Lakes in

Japan, North Pacific, Arctic Pacific.

Back then they probably lived on the bottom of the ocean and had many enemies.

When herrings go somewhere Herrings swim in a pack all together.

Herring are a kind of an important fish.

Herrings are important food fish.

Page 22: Borowy powerpoint

Tyrannosaurus Rex• My fossil was found in

New Mexico.

• I think my fossil lived in a place that has very little water.

• The environment was a very hot, sandy place

• My fossil has very sharp teeth and weighs 5-7 tons. That is 10,000-12,000 pounds. He is also a carnivore.

NAME: Nick Blahut

Page 23: Borowy powerpoint

Triceratops• It was found in Canada

and West U.S.A.

A inference I can make is that it was found in a grassy area because it’s a herbivore.

It was found in a grassy area in Canada.

• It has 3-horns and a frill.

•Trilobites are animals that lived more than 5,500 years ago.

•My fossil was living in the bottom of the sea.

• Trilobites are remarkable. Also trilobites have hard shell.

Ammonite• My fossil was found in warm

shallow seas. Ammonites were predatory squid like creatures that lived in coil shaped shells.

I can infer that the environment was dark and wet.

The environment is dark and shallow.

• Its swirls are like a stair case. Its shell has different colors.

Herring

North and pacific ocean

My inference is it environment is water because it is a fish

On dry land near water deep as 660 meters deep

Herrings stay in a large group of fish. These herring fish are related to sardines and radon
