Drs. Clarence & Ja’Ola Walker are a couple that minister together teaching Biblical principles to families, singles and youth. They have been married and ministering for over 41 years across denominational and ethnic lines. They have special burden for the African American family. The Walkers are spiritually, professionally and experientially equipped for ministering to families. They are excellent role models for married life. Their teaching is sound, Biblical, down to earth, practical and clear, anyone can understand as the Holy Spirit teaches through them. Clarence Walker Ministries (CWM) is the preaching, teaching and music aspect of their calling. Their purpose is to build and restore relationships by sharing Biblical Principles for successful marriage, family and single enrichment. The Walkers have appeared nationally on many radio and television programs, and are featured speakers at conferences and seminars throughout the United States.

For Christian Lovers Only Curriculum Kit (FCLO) Is a full marriage enrichment program created by the Walkers that can be used for church, small groups and individual couples. FCLO features three sections that can be used together or independently. Dr Clarence Walker is a born-again servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He received a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary, a M.S.W. from Temple University and a B.S.W. in Social Work from Eastern College. He earned a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Marriage Council of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry; Division of Family Study. He received additional training from the Minnesota Institute for Couples Communication. He was a Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice for 12 years.

Dr. Clarence Walker is the Pastor and Founder of the Fresh Anointing Christian Center, he is also an apostolic covering for over 100 pastors and has ministered in Africa, Israel, Caribbean and South Korea. Dr. Walker is the author of two books; BIBLICAL COUNSELING WITH AFRICAN AMERICANS and BREAKING STRONGHOLDS IN THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN FAMILY published by Zondervan. He is a contributing author to three books entitled: BIBLICAL STRATEGIES FOR A COMMUNITY IN CRISIS and CALLED TO LEAD and ITS PRAYER TIME. The Walkers’ Marriage Enrichment curriculum “FOR CHRISTIAN LOVER’S ONLY” was published by Urban Ministries. .

Dr Clarence Walker has served as an adjunct professor at Eastern Baptist Seminary (Palmer Seminary) and received numerous awards and commendations for service to communities. As an Evangelist, his dynamic preaching has touched many people across this nation and in the Caribbean. The Walkers conducted marriage cell groups the Delaware Valley Area and led an exciting Singles ministry for 20 years. Dr. Ja’Ola Walker is indeed a saved woman of virtue. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Jameson Christian College, a M.Ed. in Counselor Education from West Chester State College and a BA in Psychology from Eastern College. She received additional training from the Minnesota Institute for Couples Communication and Certified Parents Skills Inc. Dr Ja’Ola is the Co-Pastor of the Fresh Anointing Christian Center and a featured speaker at many conferences and seminars for women. She is the author of "THE EIGHT POWERS OF A WOMAN", and the contributing author to the book, "CALLED TO LEAD", and has served as an adjunct professor at Eastern Baptist Seminary. (now Palmer Seminary) She is the founder and director of the Daughters of Destiny Prayer Network, calling women to impact their nation with intercession with prayer groups in the U.S., Liberia, Kenya, Barbados, and Benin. FEES AND COSTS

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO “WALKER FAMILY ENTERPRISE”

Seminar Prices - (including; teaching, exercises, Q&A, group facilitating)

$600.00 - 1 hour $800.00 – 3 hours $1,000.00 –5 hours $700.00 - 2 hours $900.00 – 4 hours

Five hours represents a full day and the hours must be within the same day. We need a lunch break and two small breaks in a full day seminar. Any time over five hours begins a new day of seminars.

Seminar fees are fixed and they should be paid at the end of the event. CWM should be

reimbursed for copying, faxing, or express mailing done relative to your event. Worksheets will be e-mailed and you will need to make copies for participants.

Breakfasts, Luncheons, Banquets

$700.00 (up to one hour) Major Conferences

When an honorarium is allotted, each engagement will be decided on an individual basis. Revivals & Services

Clarence Walker Ministries does not charge a fee for preaching however the ministry suggests a love offering of at least $800.00.

Please be prepared to make a special appeal for the speaker’s offering and submit the full amount to the speaker at the end of the service.

In cases of low attendance, the sponsor should be prepared to supplement the Offerings from the organizational funds.

Churches who do not take love offerings for speakers will be charged a fee determined by CWM.

For evening revivals and services, the Walkers request to be put up to speak by 9:00 P.M.

Advertisement and Promotion of Event

We encourage the sponsor to utilize all media outlets according to their budget including flyers, brochures, radio, TV internet and newspapers. Feel free to use our website picture for advertisement.


CD &Book Sales

A long table is needed to display and sell materials. It may be positioned wherever it is convenient for the sponsor.

A person is needed to assist with tape sales, preferably someone experienced with sales or good math skills.

Taping Rights

Our seminar material is copyrighted, taping is not permitted. If revivals, services or messages are taped or videoed, CWM request a copy of such gratis. Churches should consider giving the Walkers a percentage of these tape sales.

Materials Needed

We will need a projector and laptop to show PowerPoint presentations. We can bring the presentations on zip drive or bring our laptop. We also need to connect the projector to the sound system to show video clips. Please let us know what option is best for you.

If this is your first event with the Walkers they will be teaching from their curriculum, "For Christian Lovers Only" you can purchase participant guides for $12 a couple or person that couples can use throughout all three sections of the curriculum. Or, we can e-mail just the worksheets for the retreat to be printed by you for your participants.

I. ACCEPTING ENGAGEMENTS

1. Tentative dates will only be held for 3 weeks after inquiry of availability. Once the request for a date has been made and approved, a letter of confirmation must be supplied within three weeks of the inquiry to ensure the date. We ask you to thoroughly read all information sent to you and promptly fill out and return the pre-engagement form.

2. Cancellation Policy: Clarence Walker Ministry understands that there are times when churches and organizations may have to cancel a scheduled event. However, such cancellations are a lost opportunity to another church or organization to schedule an event. We ask that you be sure of your intent before scheduling the Walkers for an event.

Any church or organization that fails to notify CWM of cancellations will jeopardize any future requests to engage the Walkers. You should review CWM procedures and agree to all conditions before confirming your date. Your pastor or leader must sign the agreement.

I I. T RAVE L

PLEASE CONFIRM WITH THE WALKERS FOR PREFERRED TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR DATE.

1. As Pastors, the Walkers must limit their time away from their church on Sunday mornings. They are available for Sundays or full weekend events once a month.

2. For most engagements we ask that they can return to Philadelphia on Saturday evening.

3. For travel by auto of an hour or more from Delaware, and no more than 3 hours a $100.00 travel expense is required and should be received by CWM a week before the event.


4. Any distance beyond two hours may require plane or train arrangements. Tickets must be purchased by the church or organization and received a week prior to the event. Seating arrangements and boarding passes should accompany the tickets. If you must purchase tickets too early to get seats, please call back and get seating when able.

5. Club Car or Metro Service is required for train travel. (For local churches on east coast between NY and D.C.)

6. If your event begins early in the day you will need to make travel and hotel arrangements for the Walkers to arrive the evening before the event.

7. The sponsor must provide someone to pick up the Walkers from the airport or train station preferably a male to help with the luggage. The name and description of the person will help.

8. The sponsor should assign a person to serve as an assistant to transport the Walkers to and from their hotel site and the event location, assist with luggage and generally serve as support.

9. Auto travel requires clear and specific directions, including approximate travel times, route and interstate numbers, exit name and numbers, major landmarks, correct spelling of streets and highways, number of traffic lights and toll costs.

10. Please provide a telephone number of event site, and have someone available to answer the telephone in cases of emergency or lost in travel. In addition, telephone numbers of contact person, pastor or leader, church and hotel should be provided.

III . HOTEL & MEAL ACCOMODATIONS

1. Hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the sponsor. There should be a representative present to handle the check- in and checkout procedures.

2. All the Walker’s meals must be provided for via room service, meal vouchers, or at the event sites.

3. Non- smoking room with one queen or king-sized is preferred.

4. The Walkers need bottled water when they speak and in their hotel room.

If you are sponsoring a marriage retreat with us for the first time we will present lessons from our marriage curriculum. "For Christian Lovers Only" It features our main foundational messages.

After ministering for 33 years we have found that these lessons are essential foundations needed to build the other lessons on. You may set up a time schedule that is best for you. So What Do You Want From Me and Crazy Communication are the main lessons. The other one hr lessons are interchangeable. For Friday evenings during a retreat we do not suggest heavy teaching, people are usually tired and stressed. They are much more receptive in the morning for the heavier lessons. We suggest you set up a couple's fun night or romantic banquet, a movie, fellowship etc. The Walkers will need to rest to prepare for the morning workshops.
