Guided ToursGuided tours are a maximum of 25 people per guide (50 for Meet & Greet)Meet & Greet£45. A 30 minute introduction to the Gardens and their history, with a summary of current flowering conditions. Usually taken with a gentle stroll towards Home Wood but can also take place on a coach or – if previously arranged with the Exbury caterers – in Mr Eddy’s Tea Rooms.Senior Guide Tour£70. A 1½ - 2 hour historical tour of the Gardens, recounting stories and anecdotes of the de Rothschild family and visiting the best of the colour. Tour starts at the Visitor Entrance and can finish within the Gardens, at the Steam Railway, Five Arrows Gallery or the Visitor Entrance.Head Gardener Tour£100. For the more specialist group, tours can focus by request on any aspect of the horticultural collection according to the season – camellias, magnolias, rhododen-drons, azaleas, summer exotics or autumn colour. Lots of advice and tips will be passed on. Sensory tours available. Tours last 2 hours.The Exbury Gardens Steam RailwayThe popular Exbury narrow gauge Steam Railway takes visitors on a magical journey around the north-east corner of the Gardens and through the Summer Lane Garden planted with bulbs, her-baceous perennials and grasses. The journey lasts 20 minutes and features include a bridge, tunnel, viaduct and North Lake.

The Steam Railway celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2011 with a visit from HRH The Prince of Wales (following in his mother’s footsteps) and The Duchess of Cornwall. Visit ‘The Dream that Became Steam’ walk-through ex-hibition in the Engine Shed. Trains depart Exbury Central regularly from 12 noon*. Tickets can be or-dered in advance using the Group Booking Form at a discounted rate of £3.50, or can be purchased on arrival at the Gardens for £4.50.*During busy/peak period or on Special Event days, timings may differ. Changes will be advertised at the Visitor Entrance.

Access For AllExbury Gardens is widely accessi-ble, with the majority of pathways on level ground. Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The buggy and Steam Railway are good ways of seeing the Gardens with your feet up! The Steam Railway has 4 wheelchair-friendly carriages. Mr Eddy’s Tea Rooms and Shop are also both accessible as well as the toilets and baby changing facilities are available. A leaflet summarising accessibility is available on request.

Exbury Explorer Buggy ServiceExbury’s scheduled chauffeur driven buggy trips are available throughout the year to transport visitors with limited mobility between points of interest in the Gardens. The driver will stop at designated areas to impart information and answer questions. The buggy operates a ‘hop-on, hop-off’ service allowing passengers to disembark and explore at leisure before continuing the onward journey. This service is extremely popular and waiting times are likely on busy days. Buggies seat 12 passengers and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets must be purchased on arrival at the gardens.Exbury Chartered Buggy Experience(Available for advance bookings 6th June – 23 October)£45 Chartered Buggy with Meet & Greet and itinierary from driver plus £16 per person for Gardens Admission, Railway and Buggy ticket.Your group will be met on arrival by one of our knowledgeable and friendly buggy chauffeurs where an itinerary will be arranged for each person in the group to include a 30 minute buggy tour with commentary and a 20 minute railway ride. Available only as a pre-booked service and strictly limited to one group per day.

Catering at ExburyOur catering team at Mr Eddy’s Tea Rooms would be delighted to discuss group lunch menus for your party. Early morning tea/coffee and pastries, lunches and afternoon cream teas may all be pre-booked for your group. A selection of menus can be found at www.exbury.co.uk.
