In 2012, the Autonomous Okrug has been cooperating with 24 Russian Federation subjects within the framework of cooperation agreements / treaties and protocols of intent, as well as with other RF subjects outside the scope of contractual relations.

In 2012, the Autonomous Okrug has been actively developing cooperation with the World Bank for gas cluster construction.
Signing of the agreement with the Russian Academy of Sciences for establishment of RAS-Ugra Innovation Centre is in progress.
Regions have been the leaders in the Autonomous Okrug’s interregional cooperation in the recent years
