ATTENTION SENIORS! Are you a senior, planning to major in Theatre Arts in college? If so, you may be eligible for a scholarship from DTASC, or a Mario Lomeli Scholarship, which is sponsored jointly by DTASC & CETA.

Applications, which must be signed by your current theatre arts teacher, can be downloaded by typing in dtasc.org, which will take you to the new web site. Click on Forms and scroll down to find the forms for both DTASC and Lomeli Scholarships. Fill in the forms on your computer and print them out.

LOMELI SCHOLARSHIP (3 candidates per school)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:• Audition will consist of a five minute

performance including one contem-porary and one classical monologue including titles and playwrights

• A performer who continues past the time limit when stopped will be disqualified

• If singing is included as a monologue choice, bring musical accompani-ment (CD & player, iPod, etc)

• No costumes or props; two chairs will be available for use

• An interview may follow the audition/presentation at the discretion of the panel
