Why I chose this..

• I have always been interested about the afterlife but ever since I've lost a couple of people close to me its made me more curious about this topic.

Book: The Five People You Meet in Heaven

• I chose this book because it was somewhat of a true story. Mitch Albom, the author, wrote it for his uncle who was close to him and it was what the author really thought about the afterlife.

• The message of this book was to make people realize how much they were love and cared for before it was too late.

Interview

• I interviewed a Catholic and Muslim preacher over the phone.

• Muslim’s deeds on earth greatly influence where you go when you die.

• Catholics also believe in a place like Heaven or “paradise” and Hell such as Christian and Muslim.

Most Interesting Thing..

• Both videos caught my interest.• I thought it was interesting that the psychic on

post 6 claims she talks to all theses spirits and each one she listens to has had a different experience with the afterlife. It is hard to believe this, but it shows that no specific religion is right.

What I learned…• Don’t assume one faith is right because none of them can be

proven.• Muslim’s are very strict when it comes to their religion. • Muslims also believe in a day of judgment like most faiths

when the Allah will send believers to Heaven or Hell, depending on their actions on earth.

• Buddhists believe in escaping the cycle of death rather than to accept the fact that death is inevitable. Their journey of going to either “nirvana” or back to earth for rebirth. lasts up to 49 days. Its divided into 3 parts.

• Catholics are similar to Christians, but they prefer Mary, Jesus' mother, to be the most important idol, like Jesus himself.

My Opinion

• I believe that there is a God and there will be a judgment day, or rapture where he sends everyone to Heaven or Hell.

• I think most of the outcome when you die will be based on what you have done on earth.

• This project has helped me not to be so judgmental towards other religions because no one really knows what happens when we die.

What I could have done..

• I think I could have gotten more religion’s point of view instead of just the same 3 or 4.

• I also wished my pictures went more with what my actual post was about.

• My interviews could have been better if I didn’t wait until the last minute to do them.
