OTS INDIVIDUAL TRAINING UTILIZING BLACKWATER INSTRUCTORS

Three Day Pistol Course $734.35 per Student This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations. The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase his skill level with a handgun. Five Day Pistol Course $942.82 per Student This course is designed to develop skills for the student who uses his weapon in a tactical environment. The course will start with developing fundamental shooting skills. You will soon advance to skills that will reduce your reaction time, allow you to shoot faster with higher degree of accuracy, and increase your confidence with your handgun. Three Day Shotgun Course $734.35 per Student This course fully develops the student’s ability to employ the shotgun in any tactical environment. Student will progress from basic handling and marksmanship to advanced shooting techniques that can be used in any tactical environment. Three Day Carbine Course $734.35 per Student This course is a Bushmaster factory certified course taught by Blackwater. The certification is valid for three years. The course is designed to teach students the skills necessary to properly operate and maintain the Bushmaster carbine rifle or any AR15 style weapon. This will be accomplished by a conducting a combination of classroom lectures and practical range exercises. The students will be required to pass both a written test and a shooting test. Five Day Carbine Operator Course $942.82 per Student This course is designed to develop understanding and proficiency with a tactical carbine. Students will progress from basic handling and marksmanship skills to advanced shooting drills. This course will focus on techniques used in an urban environment. The student will develop skills that will increase their speed, accuracy and confidence with the carbine. Five Day Carbine Instructor Course $942.82 per Student This course is designed to develop understanding and proficiency with a tactical carbine. Students will progress from basic handling and marksmanship skills to advanced shooting drills. This course will focus on techniques used in an urban environment. The student will develop skills that will increase their speed, accuracy and confidence with the carbine. The course also includes instructor development in the areas of methods of instruction and training program development.

Five Day Pistol / Carbine Course $942.82 per Student This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills with both the pistol and carbine rifle. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations. The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with the handgun and carbine.

High Risk Warrant / Hostage Rescue (5 days) $942.82 per Student This course will focus on the three most common SRT situations: warrant service, barricaded suspect, and hostage rescue. The course is designed for officers who are already assigned to a Special Response Team. Students conducting the training will be required to dress out in their tactical gear. A gear list will be provided. Students should have a primary weapon (subgun / carbine) and a secondary weapon (pistol). If you are only issued a handgun, you can still participate in the course.

Maritime Security Training (5 Days) $942.82 per Student This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of Maritime rapid response tactics for the Law Enforcement Tactical Officer who has the responsibility to enforce laws in a maritime environment. For the purpose of this course, a Maritime environment is described as an environment that would be on or near water. This five day course is a comprehensive course of instruction that will cover all practical aspects of maritime SWAT operations. This course is not a live fire course of instruction. Focus will be on specialized tactics. The student will be exposed to inherently dangerous training scenarios such as swimming, climbing on board small to large vessels and fast roping. The course of instruction will be conducted during normal working hours; however, two night training events will be scheduled. The student will quickly gain experience and confidence in all aspects of maritime operations. Force Protection (10 Days) $2,028.95 per Student This 10 day course is designed for military unit support personnel operating in hostile environments. The student will undergo instruction in evasive driving, countering ambush, surveillance detection, live fire bail outs, high speed evasive maneuvers, skid control, and convoy operations. Surveillance & Surveillance Detection (5 Days) $2,037.24 per Student This course of instruction is designed for those individuals who are living, working or visiting high threat areas that have high criminal or terrorist activities. Training will focus on the principles of surveillance, techniques used to conduct surveillance and the methods used to detect surveillance.
