BlackBerry Leap:Review snippets from around the world

“The BlackBerry Leap sticks to that best-in-class keyboard experience”crackberry.com
Processor & Performance:Inside, the Leap shares exactly the same internals as the two-year-old Z10: a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
“That S4 Plus chip is a red flag. It's ancient, at least in silicon years. Even so, it hums along nicely in the Leap, and I can't really complain about everyday performance.”
Overall:“The Leap is made by business for business: a serious-looking, reasonably priced device”
Camera:“The Leap's 8-megapixel main camera is surprisingly good considering the spec, and you gotta love that battery life.”
Keyboard“The newest all-touch BlackBerry maintains the status quo.”
Battery Life“With a much larger battery than the Z10, the Leap earns its keep as a workhorse. With moderate usage that stuck to business-oriented tasks, I was able to go two days before needing to recharge.”
LCD Screen:“The Leap’s screen doesn’t look out of its depth, and it was very responsive to touch.”
“Still, the Leap is likely to provide what you need from a business smartphone, particularly when it comes to handling email.”
The BlackBerry Leap is affordable, but not cheap. It looks expensive and sports a smart design and good battery life, but the processor is an oddity. Overall, it's a solid, rather impressive piece of kit.
