Faith & Emotions Part 1 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) I want to speak with you about Faith & Emotions! Every step that you take should be a faith walk. I am not saying that we should not have emotions because, the emotional side of you is governed by the five senses. We hear, touch, see, smell, and taste. When you walk into a room and you smell chicken, your sense of smell has detected it. We have to be the same way with faith. When God created the World He did not say I have to see it first, He said let there be light! He felt it, and it was so!

Faith & Emotions Part 1

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) I want to speak with you about Faith & Emotions!

I often quote its going to take faith to get you to where God has called you to be. God is concerned about where is your faith? Many times, we blame others for our failures, and it is very common. When Adam was first confronted about his sin, he said it is that woman that you gave to me. He blamed God & the woman! The woman then blamed the snake. In life, everyone wants to play the blame game, but my time and relationship with God goes beyond four walls. I give you the Word and it is up to you to take it and apply it to yourself. God says; do you believe that I am able to do this?

One of my favorite scriptures is Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Many times, we say that we believe God but it is only when we are under a certain atmosphere. You feel good in that moment, but when you come down & reality hits sometimes we forget the declarations and proclamations that we have made before God! It is that moment when life’s circumstance reminds you of right where you are that we have the tendency to run from what we are supposed to know. God wants us to know that no matter what you are going through: We have to stay in faith!

God will do the impossible for us and step into the natural realm no matter how adverse it may seem to be. God says; if you can believe in me, I will step into that natural situation and I will shift it! I will take control of it! Your believing will cause Him to release what He already gave you! Meaning: It is already done you just have to receive it!

We cannot allow ourselves to be moved by emotions. I am not crying in a state of unbelief! Why? Because I believe God! Yes, God gave us emotions, they are the spice of life & connected to our charisma to show people who we are. Yet, we have to learn how to keep our emotions intact. Let go of fear, doubt, un-forgiveness, & grief. It is time to embrace the emotions that God has given us those being forgiveness, believing, love, & joy. God demands a level of faith from you, do not allow negative emotions to interrupt your walk with Christ! Until next time: Remember Miracles Do Happen! Bless you now, Bishop Wayne T. Jackson
