Summer Swimming Lessons Rocanville Aquatic Centre will be offering swimming lessons for preschool, level 1-6, Rookie, Ranger, and Star lessons July 17th-21st and August 14th-17th. The times for each day are as follows: 9-10am Preschool 10-11am Swimmer 1-5 11am-12pm Swimmer 6, Rookie, Ranger, Star 1-2pm Swimmer 1-5 2-3pm Swimmer 6, Rookie Ranger Star Parent & Tot will be August 8th-11th. The times for each day are as follows: 10-11am 1-2pm How to Register: A REGISTRATION NIGHT for all lessons will be held in the Rec office (in the new Rocanville hall) on SUNDAY JUNE 25TH FROM 6:00-8:00PM. All swimming fees will be paid at the office that night, or we will not be able to accept your registration. No early registrations will be accepted. There will be a limited number of spots and once we are full you will be put on a cancellation list. Cost: $50 for parent & tot and preschool, $60 for Level 1-6, Rookie, Ranger, and Star. ** If your child is attending the summer program during these weeks they can still take swimming lessons. Our summer program leaders will gladly take your children to and from swimming lessons while they attend the Summer Program on these days. Your child must be registered in swimming lessons on the registration night outlined above and with the Summer Program by email-ing [email protected]. Please indicate that you have already registered them for lessons.**

Rocanville Playground Committee
The current wooden play structure is 30 plus years old and is beyond repair.
Playground equipment is very, costly and we have been working hard at this but still have a long way to go.
This project will be funded solely by donations and
fundraising efforts. A new community playground will bring joy to the
community for many years to come! If you would like to make a donation, please send a cheque made out to

Saturday, June 17th Rocanville will be celebrating
Canada’s 150th Birthday!
The day will feature a
Parade, Car Show, Market at the Museum, Slo-Pitch, & Splash
and Dash at the Rocanville Aquatic Center and FIREWORKS
by Paradise Fireworks from Regina.
To register your business, church, group or team for the
parade - suggested theme is Canada 150 -

Splash and dash is a simple, fun and challenging event! We
will be seeking two person teams consisting of one adult and
one student. Teams will compete in a 150m swim and a
1500m run or walk. Swim distances will vary according
student age. There will be a modest entry fee for this
fitness fundraiser!
Slo-Pitch will be hosting a tournament as well. $200 entry fee
for a 10 person team, 3 females must be on the field. 50%
payout for the winner. Beer gardens will be held at the yellow
diamond from noon until midnight. Contact Owen Wilson to

Qualifications: - Successful completion of secondary school (however a combination of previous work experience and educational skills will be considered). - Must possess good leadership, administrative and organizational skills. - Possess a valid Driver’s License. - Willing to work flexible hours. - Self motivated and able to work under minimal supervision. - Must provide a copy of criminal and vulnerable person record check.
