The student found out that the volume of 20 ml of 0.1% ascorbic acid will caused 1 ml DCPIP to decolourised. The volume of uncooked pineapple juice which caused 1 ml DCPIP to decolourised was then recorded. This experiment was repeated using a pineapple that was cooked for 0.5 minute, 1.0 minute, 2.0 minutes, 3.0 minutes and 5 minutes. Diagram 1 shows the volume of each pineapple juice for every time the pineapple was cooked. Beliau mendapati 20 ml isipadu asid askorbik 0.1% melunturkan 1 ml DCPIP . Isipadu jus nanas yang tidak dimasak untuk melunturkan 1 ml DCPIP dicatat.

Seorang pelajar menjalankan eksperimen untuk mengkaji kandungan vitamin C (asid askorbik) dalam sebiji nenas yang dimasak. Eksperimen dijalankan dengan menggunakan sebiji nenas yang dimasak dalam tempoh masa tertentu dengan menggunakan picagari seperti rajah di bawah.

The student found out that the volume of 20 ml of 0.1% ascorbic acid will caused 1 ml DCPIP to decolourised. The volume of uncooked pineapple juice which caused 1 ml DCPIP to decolourised was then recorded.

This experiment was repeated using a pineapple that was cooked for 0.5 minute, 1.0 minute, 2.0 minutes, 3.0 minutes and 5 minutes.
