    INTRODUCTIONThe forty-third Bilderberg Meeting was held at the Burgenstock Hotel

    in Burgenstock Switzerland, on June 8-11, 1995. There were 118participants from 20 European countries, the United States and Canada.They represented government, diplomacy, politics, business, law, labor,education, journalism, the military, and institutes specializing in nationaland international studies. All participants spoke in a personal capacity, notas representatives of their national governments or their organizations. Asis usual at Bilderberg Meetings, in order to permit frank and opendiscussion, no public reporting of the conference proceedings took place.

    This booklet is an account of the 1995 Bilderberg Meeting and isdistributed only to participants of this and past conferences and toprospective participants of future conferences. I t represents a summary ofthe panelists' opening remarks for each seSsion, and of the comments andinterventions made in the subsequent discussions.
