Academics. Must be academically eligible to tryout. Based on last grading period of this school year.
Program will have three teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity, Reserve
Evaluation: Players need to be fit, be good with the ball and make good decisions on the field.
Positional requirements, opportunity for development, intangibles are considered. (Speed of play is critical).
As of August 1 and teams are selected, attendance is mandatory for a practices, scrimmages and games.
Electronic Communications (Facebook, Texting, Twitter, Instagram, E-Mail, etc…). Be responsible, exercise
good judgment, respect teammates, opponents, coaches and administration, parents and fans.
Participation fees due after teams are selected. $150 / $300 individual cap / $450 family cap

“Fitness is your commitment to excellence” By August 1, 2016, you need to be able to do the following:
1. (1) Mile Run @ BHS track. Target time: <6:45 minutes.
- 4 laps around the high school track = 1 mile
2. Nike Sparq Beep Test. Target number of consecutive completed runs: 20
- Length of 1 complete run: 20 meters and back in the allotted time.
- Test timed for specific intervals.
- Test ends when athlete can no longer complete a run in the required time.
3. (5) Consecutive :21/:42 Full Field Runs. Sprint full field in <:21, recover full field in <:42.
- Start at goal line and sprint all the way to opposite goal line in <:21
- Recovery run is a brisk jog back to start line in <:42
- When :42 is up, start next run
- Test is 5 consecutive full field runs under the target times
- Record how many of the 5 you successfully make in the target times.
4. (2) 300 Yard Shuttle Runs. Target time: <60 seconds.
- Set out two markers 50 yards apart
- Start and run to marker 50 yards out and return
- Continue this for 6 consecutive runs back and forth for a total of 300 yards
- Test is 2 repetitions with a 3 minute rest between each run
5. Skills Test.
- Figure 8 Dribbling (10 yards / 3 cones). Record total number of cones passed in 45 sec.
- Instep Juggling (As many tries in 60 sec.) Record highest number of consecutive touches.
- Head Juggling (As many tries in 60 sec.) Record highest number of consecutive touches.
6. Strength Test. Push Ups and Sit Ups.
- Record the number of push ups you can do in 1 minute
- Record the number of sit ups you can do in 1 minute
While fitness testing is done with the entire group, fitness is about personal improvement. Know your times
and do your best to improve upon them.
Fitness is an important factor when evaluating an athlete. Everyone talks about getting to the next level. Do not
under estimate how important fitness is in helping you reach the next level. It directly affects your ability to
compete. To elevate your game…you have to train.

6. Complete each form and enter your full name (e.g. "John Smith") into the Parent Signature field at the bottom of the page. After signing, click SUBMIT FORM and move on to the next form
7. When all forms are complete, you will see a “Forms Finished” message.
8. ***IMPORTANT*** An email will automatically be sent to the email address that you provided for your student prompting him/her to sign Student forms requiring his/her signature, if required
9. If you are registering an additional student, click MY STUDENTS at the top of the page and jump back to Step 3. Welcome to Beavercreek High School Soccer – Go Creek!
Sidekicks is a parent group formed to support the BHS soccer program. Through
the years, Sidekicks have provided the teams with:
*speed equipment *socks *uniforms *bags *t-shirts
*goalie jerseys *bags *warm-ups *goals *banquets *scholarships
Sidekicks is a part of the Athletic Boosters. All soccer families are members of
Sidekicks and are asked to be members of the Athletic Boosters, as well.
Once teams are posted, parents and players will be asked to:
*Join Sidekicks, and join Athletic Boosters
*participate in fundraisers: Banners, Kroger cards, restaurant nights,
Alumni Day, Spiritwear, etc.
*participate in Sidekicks:
-Chair, assist and/or volunteer with various committees – some positions
require minimal amounts of time, but yield great benefits to the teams
and players. Please inquire and be involved.
