COWBOYSI remember driv-ing home to Okeechobee after winning the best of the best and getting a phone call that RJ Gators had closed down. I started thinking of all the many places I had visited and eaten at over the past few years

in the professional bbq circuit, to put my own twist on things I wanted to explore the Florida crackers (cowboys) that the rest of the world doesnt seen to know about, Floridas cowboys are the unknown heros of the state being covered up by disney-sea world-daytona and many other modern attractions, what folks dont know is the amount of cattle-citrus-pulp wood- and vegatables Florida produces. My home town of Okeechobee also produced many rodeo stars many of my neighbors are well known or even world famous, DR Daniels-Rabe Rabon-and rafe durrance are just a few of dozens

of world champions and olympic competitors from the small town where I was raised

THINKINGBoots on the doors as you enter, Cowboy hats as lamp shades, pic-tures of local cowboys and cowgirls will be the decor. Take our Florida bbq and tune it up a bit, making healthy wraps and salads from our smoked turkey and chicken. Explaining to the public how slow smok-ing pork and brisket removes much of the fat. BBQ eggrolls sweet corn nuggets and fried green beans for starters to keep things differ-ent from the chain resteraunts, so many thoughts passed through my mind as I drove home that day.

BBQEntering the store I looked around wondering if I could really do this, I had been in the landscaping bussiness since childhood, could I really do what I loved? BBQ is a great way to spend time with your fam-ily, preparing the meat, avoiding smoke, flipping burgers, spending time together in the outdoors, this is what much of my younger life consisted of this is what I love. I put my all in it, I gave it my best, we at COWBOYS arent perfect but we enjoy our jobs and we try hard. straight from Okeechobee to Ft. Pierce to Stuart come try our local flavors and atmosphere. Time to do Springtime CleansingEvery morning we brush our teeth, take a shower and make ourselves look as good as possible on the outside. Our environment might not be in our control but almost everything else is. There are so many ways to help your body perform at your best. Most of us do cleansing with hopes of losing weight which should be the least important reason. Yes of course weight loss is a wonderful side effect of cleansing but here are the real reasons to do it:• Anti-aging• Increase energy levels• Improve digestion and elimination• Eliminate excess toxinsª Decrease inflammation

Improve or eliminate skin conditions (your skin is your largest organ and impurities must come out one way or another)Through the years I have heard many more reasons and every person can benefit no matter their situation. When customers come into Nutrition World I do adapt the perfect cleanse for them but I start everyone out with the same rules.1. Week one: eliminate all white foods (sugar, flour,

dairy, soy…)2. Week two: Eliminate all liquids except water. There

are a couple of exceptions to this rule, but in general if it has sugar or anything fake don’t drink it.

3. Week three: Begin taking a cleansing product Choose one that is at least 14 days long. (If you purchased a 30 day kit start at week one)

4. Week four: Eliminate all foods except fruit, veggies, nuts and seeds. Eat as many steamed or raw dark green veggies. You can use Hemp or vegan protein powders. Try to purchase organic as much as possible.

The Easter StoryThe Resurrection“Early Sunday morning,* while it was still dark, Mary Magda-lene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and I don’t know where they have put him!” Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying to the side. Then the other dis-ciple also went in, and he saw and believed—for until then they hadn’t realized that the Scriptures said he would rise from the dead. Then they went home.

Jesus Appears to Mary MagdaleneMary was standing outside the tomb crying and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. She saw two white-robed angels sitting at the head and foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. “Why are you crying?” the angels asked her. “Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” She glanced over her shoulder and saw someone standing behind her. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. “Why are you crying?” Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will go and get Him.”“Mary!” Jesus said.She turned toward him and exclaimed, “Teacher!”*“Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father.
