Smith has given more than $4 million to establish the Museum of Anthropology and support students of all ages. Her latest gift is expanding the museum’s footprint and capacity to bring the world’s cultures to our doorstep. f For scholarship recipient Phillip Drange (’17), teaching music is more than a passion—it's a way to pay it forward to the next generation while honoring his late brother, Aaron. The Aaron Drange Memorial Scholarship supports uture music students. A donor-funded award supported Andrea Avina (’17) as she overcame violence and trauma to find her voice and purpose in speech therapy.
