Located 7 kilometres from Benidorm, in Alfaz del Pí, Albir Beach is a rocky beach famous for its marine fauna.

Both the village of Alfaz del Pí and its beach are surrounded by the Sierra Helada Natural Park as well as by the warm Mediterranean atmosphere. This area has various charming coves with crystal clear waters.

If you would like to discover a charming beach where you can go diving, the walk here is worth the effort!

Albir Beach

Almadrava is a perfect beach if you are looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the sea, given that its waters are very calm, with almost no waves and a turquoise hue.

Despite being a mixed beach of both sand and rocks, it has a sunbed service allowing you to easily relax.

As it is near the city, access to this small oasis is rather simple.

Mascarat Cove


Finestrat CoveAlthough Finestrat Cove isn’t exactly in Benidorm, it’s worth a visit. It is only 10 minutes from the centre of Benidorm, this cove is next to Poniente Beach, almost in the municipality of the same name, Finestrat.

Cala del MetgeIf you want to swim in a cove in Benidorm practically untouched, you have to visit the Cala del Metge in Albir. Located at the entrance to Sierra Helada Natural Park, under its cliffs, it is perfect for refreshing yourself.

Discover under its transparent waters, the beautiful sea beds that characterise the whole area close to the Park.

It is surrounded by low mountains and is usually very quiet, meaning you can escape from the bustling city. You can get to this cove via a short bus,

car or taxi ride.

However, this cove, given its steepness and the fact that it is practically on the rock, is not the best place to lie down and sunbathe. It is, however, ideal for taking a dip and refreshing in its clear waters and unbeatable environment.

Balcón del Mediterráneo

One of the wonders of the city is Punta Canfalí. It is in this great rock, which separates the two great beaches of Benidorm, Levante and Poniente, where the emblematic Castle of Benidorm was located. Today only some of the remains of its walls can be seen. Converted into a viewpoint, it is known as the “Balcón del Mediterráneo”.

Water parks

Benidorm has several fun parks with something to do for all ages. If you are looking for adrenaline in its purest form, you should visit the Terra Mítica theme park. If, on the other hand, you prefer a quiet place and like nature more, you can’t miss the Terra Natura and Mundomar parks.

Benidorm has two water parks, Aqua Natura and Aqualandia open in season.

Theme parks

Aqua Natura is an aquatic park of 40000 square meters ideal for a day of fun and relaxation in the water and can be combined with Terra Natura (the animal park).

Aqualandia, on the other hand, has more intense aquatic attractions, gardens with typical vegetation of the area and a whole series of additional services.

Terra Natura concentrates more than two hundred different species from Africa, Asia and Europe. MundoMar, on the other hand, has different species of reptiles, birds and mammals and the possibility of living experiences such as swimming with sea lions or having an encounter with dolphins.


Tourist TrainThe train runs through the best of Benidorm, its beaches and its most representative buildings. For example, in the Levante area the train runs along the Avenida del Mediterráneo and the viewpoints of Sierra Helada. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. You can’t miss it!

Benidorm has two scenic bus routes that allow knowing the town and its immediate surroundings (Altea, Albir and Cala de Finestrat).

The double-decker buses on line 30 begin their journey in Rincón de Loix and pass through Av Mediterráneo, Centro, Parque de Elche and Paseo de

Poniente to reach Cala de Finestrat. Line 31 also departs from Rincón de Loix and goes on to the beaches of Albir and Altea. In addition, you can complete your visit with the line 16 that takes to Guadalest or with the line 18 that brings you to the Fuentes del Algar. You can take both lines at various stops in Benidorm (in the west - centre or east zones).

A fun way to get to know Benidorm is the tourist train.

It has two different routes, narrated with audio-guide, one in the Poniente area and the other in the Levante area.
