Obesity Rate

The obesity rate in Humboldt is 23.7%, compared to the

national average of 35.7%. 

From the 100 random participants at HSU, people rate

themselves on an average of 3.5 out of 5 on how healthy

they think they are.

The rated knowledge of the Paleo Diet was only 2 out of

random participants.

This survey had a series of

questions relating to health,

cooking, and diet, with a rating

system from 0-5 with 0 being

none and 5 being the highest.

On Average with the rating of 0-5• Knowledge of the Paleo diet = 1.94• How healthy are you = 3.48• Do you like recipes = 3.98• Do you like cooking and/or baking = 3.915• Would you like to know more on these topics = 3.88• And lastly, 88% of the participants wanted to be
