• Ben Library Media Specialist for 3 years
• Only at Ben on Day 2• My expectations (I expect
that you are in the library to work and if are not, you can expect to be sent back to study hall or your class).
• See me with ANY book, research, or computer questions!
ANOTHER PERSON WHO CAN HELP MAKE YOUR LIVES

Six VERY Simple
Rules!
# 1 All other school rules
also apply in the library. • Absolutely NO:
lateness, food, drink, coats, electronic devices, backpacks, etc.
# 2 Don’t be RUDE!
• No calling out• No talking
• No profanity/disrespectful language
• Be nice to each other!
# 3No violence of any kind!•No hitting, poking, pushing, etc.
(even if you’re “just playing”)
# 4Treat objects in the Library with care &
respect. • No drawing on tables
• No tearing books• Follow computer usage rules
# 5 Always have
something to work on (empty arms are very
suspicious!)
# 6Return all library books on time or
early.
Consequences…1. Warning2. Assigned seat (this may be
waived depending on offense)3. Removed from library for 10
school days4. Removed from library for 20
school days5. Removed from library for 30
school days6. Loss of library privileges
