Blood-sparked
feathers
Her left hand
Engulfs
The right hand of him.
Disfigured in
distant uterine aperture.

4. 0003: mirror
faces contort
Tilt
in the other direction
Phallic ink-let
manifestations
5. 0004: blackened lobster
Raw
Lobster crawls
out of boiling water
So hot it
freezes black clots
of assumed identity
onto the claws.
6. 0005: prayer-bead hands
I shrug my shoulders
are those angels
beneath
your disproportion-ate
hands with
bullet
wounds?
7. 0006: anguished love
A couple stands
Scorpion tails pointed
like ballet shoes
They are
both
male
The world is
less
to them now.

Two lips
stretched
opposite
open jawed
kiss
angled bodies
try to escape
lust-fault embrace

inward-directed
spears
diced pears
outward
appearances
This ship will
dissociate
from reality
to unreality
where I
feel safe
again.

Two pistols aimed
At the spot between
Both eyes.
Seminal
rifles erupt
like an embryo
and grow into
something horrific.

11. 0010: the masquerade
Friends
dress like
hideous
butterflies
False antennae
stitched-together wings
Theyre only destined to
die
like this.
12. 0011: umbilical candlelight
Fortress in the distance
cords made of entrails and the things that make
mortals
flickered candle
flames
guide me the entire way
maybe the fortress
isnt my destination
13. 0012: Pandrogynous
Imagine the
perfect union
of two imperfect souls
maybe one is male
the other
female
but inside
The male is
a woman
and the woman
is a man.
