To do: Brainstorm at least 5 ideas List advantages and disadvantages for your top 3 ideas Slide 6 Set Goal Goal is SMART Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Time Bound 2 Hours min. to complete No paperwork or driving time count Slide 7 Form A Plan Who is involved- List all necessary people whether job is large or small What- What is each person going to do? What will your tasks be? When- specific date, time Where- exact location How will you accomplish your goal? What resources will you need to complete your goal? What problems could you encounter and how will you overcome the barriers? Slide 8 ACT Actual Proof of project completion (pictures, supervisor signature, thank you card, cert, etc.) Must include a learning log Entry for each 30 min time period Step by step of what you did Attitude (what you see, feel, hear) Skills (what skills you transfer from class Knowledge (what new information are you learning) Must include parent signature Slide 9 Follow-up One to Two page paper 12 font, double spaced, essay format Analyzes project successes and problems Gives suggestions for improvement Discusses additional projects which could be completed Discusses how this project relates to class and what skills were learned Slide 10 Format Typed Notebook or folder Less than 3 spelling errors Due: January 10th
