It is important renters are aware of every detail in regards to the property they intend to stay in. Here are a few key

questions you should ask before agreeing to rent the property:

▸ What happens if there is a weather related emergency?

▸ What happens if a family emergency occurs prior to checking in?

▸ What are the circumstances that would lead to loss of a deposit?

Cancellation policy

Be sure the renter’s definition of child- or pet-friendly align with yours

▸ Are the accommodations child proofed?

▸ Is there anything that may be harmful to pets or small children (stairs, plants, etc.).

Child/Pet-Friendly

Depending on how many people you are vacationing with our plan on allowing to visit you at the rental property, you

may want to know:

▸ How many cars are allowed on the rental property?

▸ What will the charges be per vehicle?

▸ Is there a parking fee?

▸ Is there public transportation nearby?

Just like any other home, issues with safety and maintenance might be a concern.

▸ Who do you call if you need assistance for problems associated with the property?

▸ What type of security system is used?

▸ What happens if you get locked out of the property?
