BEAUTY CONTESTS - BLOEM SHOW 2019

Rules & Sponsors:

Ÿ 2018 Winners of the Bloem Show Compe��ons are not allowed to enter for the same category of the compe��on.

Ÿ The compe��on is open to all girls as set out on front page under categories, irrespec�ve of race, colour or creed.

Ÿ Contestants must be female, not married or have any children.

Ÿ Contestants must be South African ci�zen living in SA and must be in a good physical and mental condi�on.

Ÿ This is NOT just a beauty pageant - it is a journey pageant.

Ÿ Finalists will be suppor�ng and raising funds for the official charity JAM - helping Africa help itself.

Ÿ If you miss ANY deadline for payments and/or sponsorships; a penalty in points will apply. No excuses will be accepted.

Ÿ Should you wish to withdraw a�er the official compulsory workshop, a penalty of R1000 will apply, payable within 7 days of no�ce given.

Ÿ PWC will be the official accountants for all four of the compe��ons.

Ÿ No one is allowed to speak, unless spoken to or have any contact with the judges at all. This will lead to immediate disqualifica�on.

Ÿ Any interference of a third party (be it a parent, friends or family) will lead to immediate disqualifica�on.

Ÿ A panel of professional judges will be used. The judges’ decision is final and NO correspondence will be entered into, for both the preliminary round as well as the final.

Ÿ By entering this pageant/compe��on the contestant and or parents must agree that she/they will accept the final results and that the

Organisers/employees/judges will not be held responsible for anyone’s dissa�sfac�on with any aspect of this pageant/compe��on.

Ÿ The contestants and/or parents understand and agree that this pageant will be free and fair.

Ÿ Should any of the winners in any of the categories (winner, 1st and 2nd runner up) not adhere to the rules and contract agreement, they will be disqualified and

must return their prizes immediately. A new winner will then be appointed.

Ÿ Finalists and Winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be expected to do promo�onal and charity work for the organisers as well as the sponsors in the year of their reign, free

of charge, within boundaries and no�fied in advance.

Ÿ The organisers/employees/judges/sponsors will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injuries suffered during the compe��on.

Ÿ The organisers commit themselves to a just compe��on.

Ÿ The organisers and their employees can not be held responsible for sponsors that don’t fulfill their commitment towards prizes donated for this

compe��on/pageant.

Ÿ No employee or direct family of the Central Agricultural Society/Bloem Show/Sponsors/eModels/Central Agricultural Society Development Trust will be allowed

to enter any of the four compe��ons.

Ÿ eModels will be the official manager of all winners for the year of their reign as Bloem Show winner. Winners will not be expected to leave their current modelling

agency or school. Management in this contexts refers to du�es as winner, eModels will in other words inform winners of all events and func�ons that must be

a�ended and manage winner diaries.

Ÿ No contestant or winner is allowed to make press releases without the consent of the organisers.

Ÿ All finalists will receive a list of ac�va�ons, workshops, bootcamp, events and outreach dates at the COMPULSORY OFFICIAL FINALIST WORKSHOP on 1 December

2018 at Castello Guest House. Miss Windmill & Miss Teen 09:00 to 10:30 / Li�le Miss Daisy & Bloem Show 10:30 to 12:00 (Parents must be present)

Ÿ Each finalist will be expect to sign an addi�onal contract which explains rules and regula�ons, du�es and expecta�ons of Finalists and Winners.
