Volunteer OpportunitiesElementary Sunday School Teacher NeededChildren’s Ministry has an urgent need to fill a vacated 2nd Grade Sunday School teaching position in a four member 2nd grade teaching team (9:45 hour). Teach half the Sundays each month October-May, 2014. All materials are prepped and ready in your room each week and training is available. Contact Beth at [email protected].

Home-Centered and Communion Visitation TeamsCaring Ministries is in need of more volunteers to join our Home-Centered and Communion Visitation teams. These teams visit and care for members of our congregation who are no longer able to leave their home and come to church on a regular basis. The Home-centered Team meets with members once a month for an hour. Communion Team delivers communion on first Sunday of each month. Contact Rev. 2014 South Africa Sponsorship UpdateBUMC currently sponsors 131 children at Thembelihle Primary School in Howick South Africa as well as 22 children at Brentwood Society Church in Tumbleweed South Africa. This year, our goal is to sponsor 175 children between these two schools. We will begin this month to reach out to our existing sponsors and ask that you renew your sponsorship as well we are seeking new sponsors.
