With spring around the corner, it’s timeto start planning for changes to yourlandscape watering. Here’s a guide tohelp you determine how much water yourlandscape needs.
To check that your plants are getting theright amount of water, use a soil moisturemeter or a long screw driver to test the soil.A soil moisture meter has a scale that tellshow dry or wet the soil is. Depending onyour plant, you can adjust your wateringaccording to the reading on the meter. Ifyou don’t have a soil moisture meter, youcan use a long screwdriver and plunge itinto the soil to ensure the moisture is 6 – 10 inches deep. This will help to ensurethe plants aren’t overwatered.

Wipes Clog. What NOT to Flush
“Flushable Wipes” should NOT be flushed downtoilets. Even though these wipes may be labeledas “flushable” and are advertised to be “just liketoilet paper,” they actually cannot disintegrate inthe sewer systems and can cause majorblockages!
Since these wipes do not disintegrate easily orquickly, flushing them is like flushing ahandkerchief or other item made of cloth.
Please partner with us and avoid flushing anytype of wipe, “flushable” or otherwise, down thetoilet. If you must use wipes, put them in thetrash, not in the toilet.
