Some Questions For You…
• How long do you think you can hold your breath?• How many lengths do you think I can swim
underwater?• What is your average resting heart rate?• How low do you think a person’s heartbeat can go in
a freedive?• How long is the longest breathold?• What size are a person’s lungs at 50m?
How I deal with pressure:
- I’ve got one chance- Find all the reasons why you can- I’m prepared- Is it difficult, scary, painful or is it just
different? - Sometimes it’s just tough- Concentrate on what you are doing
and not on the result
- Let yourself have fun- Notice moments when you can do your
thing- Then get on with it- Mantras- Positive images- Coach/athlete relationship - Be honest- Magic Stuff
